Today at Cabinet, Reform officially launched the Better Leicestershire programme, set to save taxpayers between £32-60 MILLION. 🇬🇧 Labour wanted higher taxes. The Tories claimed the savings didn’t exist. Well… they’re not laughing now. 😂 The savings have been identified. The programme is launched. And Reform UK has the guts to actually deliver it. Radical change has arrived at Leicestershire County Council. 🚀

OUR HISTORIC HUNTS UNDER SIEGE 🐴 Labour’s pushing ahead with plans to BAN trail hunting, a vital part of our rural heritage that supports jobs, wildlife management, and brings communities together, as seen in the thousands who turned out for Boxing Day meets across England. This isn’t about welfare, it’s metropolitan elites waging WAR on the countryside, ignoring the real people who live and work here. Reform UK will always stand shoulder to shoulder with our rural communities. We’ll defend English traditions, protect freedom in our fields and hedgerows, and fight back against these out of touch bans. Rural Britain deserves better. Let’s preserve what makes our countryside special! 🇬🇧

How can he lecture us about “misogyny” and respect for women… …while rolling out the red carpet for hundreds of thousands of unvetted illegal male migrants from cultures where women’s rights are trampled every day? It’s not just absurd. It’s dangerous hypocrisy. We need common sense back, secure borders, real integration, and protect British values first.

The reaction from some Tory councillors to my Whitwick bus motion at Full Council was genuinely staggering… Instead of focusing on residents’ concerns, the attacks immediately started: “We shouldn’t be here discussing this, full stop.” “This should not be on the agenda.” “This is the type of behaviour the public despise.” These were aimed at ME… for daring to bring local residents’ concerns to County Hall. Where exactly are their priorities? Other councillors tried claiming: • I should have gone through the lead member first • this should have been a question instead of a motion Both claims were completely wrong. As Reform Cllr Michael Squires later pointed out, I HAD already raised this previously, including through lead members and earlier as a Full Council question. Cllr Squires also completely dismantled the narrative that this was somehow just “casework”, stating: “It’s probably disingenuous to say it’s a piece of casework.” “We have many pieces of casework they don’t usually make it onto Leicestershire Live.” Exactly right. This became a major issue because residents care about it deeply and because the Tories themselves spent months politicising it only to suddenly complain when it was formally debated publicly. In the end, Reform UK backed the motion. The Conservatives abstained. That tells you everything.
