explored a concept for a new direction of the Opendoor mobile experience problem: opendoor enters the customer relationship too late in the their journey (they need to be ready to pull the trigger). they need to start building trust 1-2 years prior to their transaction date. solution: becomes the best place where people play/browse/become inspired with homes weekly—so when they’re finally ready, they associate: Homes = Opendoor why: zillow averages 227m unique visitors/mo - the majority are window-shoppers. Opendoor should lean into that behavior and pivot the mobile app to a content-platform. ideas: - algorithmic content feed - engagement dynamics (likes/views/shares) - display homes outside of their managed supply (data more valuable over long-term) - use veo3 to convert listing images to videos (video in this prototype is) - add ai image adjustments (e.g. "make the kitchen cabinets white) this is what i would try! code is mostly written cc Eric Jackson Fahd Ananta $OPEN

new stuff! a follow-up to yesterdays Opendoor exploration. goal: build the relationship with buyers and sellers before they become buyers and sellers — do it by being the best place to play/browse/become inspired with homes. Opendoor = Homes thought: listings are just another form of content, and as such, they should have tools for remixing and personalization. i'm more likely to buy a home if it feels like its for me - this exploration attempts that. ai personalization for any listing - live demo of me: - changing the backsplash tile in the kitchen - setting an accent color on a wall - removing all of the staged furniture - (📸 with camera) displaying art from my current house on a listings wall* *this one could have been better but i'm a first take demo guy i want this! $OPEN cc Eric Jackson
