Let’s talk about counter productivity today. This year, I am finally letting go of Micro managing as a business owner and hiring people to offer the help that I so desperately need. The sad reality is that many business owners are stuck in “TOO BUSY” but we have nothing to show for our hard work. As business owners, we often get stuck in controlling the business to the extent that even when growth is stagnant, we don’t notice because we are too busy, and this is exactly what has been happening to me. I was driving people to work, supervising, running to buy stuff, cleaning with them, working on office documents, running to do inspections, talking to clients and on top of all that, shooting and editing content. At the end of the day I was too burnt out to even think about how to improve the company. I was being counter productive. I know it’s scary to put people in charge because no one could possibly do it like you do it. No one could possibly be as passionate about your business like you are. But at the end of the day, outsourcing some roles is the easiest way to let your business grow.
