BREAKING! The Hillsborough County Commission just wrapped up a public workshop to update the Rays Forever Home Tampa Bay Rays Stadium project. Tons of breaking news here and updates. IMO very good day for the Rays, taxpayers being protected revealing the tremendous public/private generational opportunity to keep the Rays, build a brand new Hillsborough college with STATE funds, and iconic stadium project that will create at least $55 Billion in economic impact and return $2.8 Billion in tax revenues. I’ve been covering this stadium saga for 20 years and I’ve never been more confident it’s getting done and done the right way.

Breaking!! Just got further confirmation of an ELITE Tampa based group in serious negotiations to buy the tbrays with support of MLB with their preference to build new stadium in Tampa. I can’t release the names yet but hopefully soon. More details in video below. Ken Rosenthal

Mike Evans is a 49er 3 years $60 million. I figured he was leaving. If Bucs use that Evans money to bring in big time D talent like Trey Hendrickson or Devin Lloyd then I’m ok with it. Signing 31 year old Alex Anzalone ain’t that! Here’s my thought on why Mike left!
