Not to harp on this but it's too blinding - it comes up in my article today - but watch Nylander's engagement in defending the net-front on FLA's 4-2 goal, starting in the upper corner. Standing straight up. Leafs badly need better from him.

Palmieri's never in the blue paint, and even with the contact, seems like the goalie has time to reset. Situation Room was put in a tough spot with the call on the ice being "no goal." Without that I bet it stands. GWG taken off board, heartbreaker for the Isles.

I had to go back and watch Connor Dewar's 11 goal season to see like ... how, I guess? There's def some lucky bounces among them (2-3 very lucky), but at least he mustered some good legit attempts that went in. Haven't see him shoot the puck like this much (ever?) as a Leaf yet.
