The people of Wisconsin have spoken clearly: they want an election system that is both accessible and secure. Our voter ID laws were constitutionally enacted to ensure every legal vote is counted and protected. As a judge, I took an oath to uphold the law as written, not to rewrite it to suit a political agenda. On the Supreme Court, I will respect the will of the people and be a bulwark against any attempt to jeopardize these protections, ensuring that our elections remain fair and our Constitution remains intact.
