During the filming of the scene where Barabbas is released and he meets Jesus face to face (played by Jim Caviezel), the actor Pietro Sarubbi(who played Barrabas), later testified that when their eyes met, he experienced something he could not explain. He said: “When our eyes met I felt a sort of surge… It was like I was really seeing Jesus.” He went on to say that in that moment he saw no hatred, only mercy and love, and that the experience led to a real life conversion during the filming of the movie. Before the film, Sarubbi had spent years searching spiritually, living in a Tibetan monastery, practicing meditation in India, and traveling widely, but after acting in that role he said: “I have reached the final goal of this search in Jesus.” After The Passion: He became a committed Christian. He wrote a testimony book about his conversion (From Barabbas to Jesus: Converted by a Glance). He began teaching acting and public speaking. He does charity work, even performing as a clown for orphaned children. He lives with his family on a farm near Milan. He had a personal encounter, not with Jim Caviezel, but with the real Jesus Christ, Himself!! Praise God!! 🎥Itabira .online

Padre Pio takes up your cause, and your family’s, and often chooses you long before you choose him. Pray a Hail Mary, say yes, and trust that he still waits at Heaven’s gate until you get through. St. Padre Pio, pray for your spiritual children 🍀

Protect this beautiful and protective Father🥺 A man of faith... if we don't teach our children who God is, someone else/ the world will teach them everything that He isn't.

One of my favourite things about the Catholic church is that no matter what country I'm in, there's a space where I'm welcomed, and I know the service by heart. The Mass may sound different but feels exactly the same. That's how I know that I am home. 🎥 heraldsofthegospel

On the solemnity of the Assumption, an impressive image of the Virgin Mary, Our Lady of Mercy, was blessed in Konotopie (Poland), making it the tallest in Europe. More than a record, it's a sign pointing to Heaven: Mary continues to lift her eyes up on her children and remind us of the way to Jesus. What prayer would you entrust to Our Mother today?. 🙏 Video - medjugorje_reina_delapaz

Watch her face. This is what happens when a child realizes Jesus is really standing in front of her. Alice, a little girl from Brasília, Brazil, couldn’t hold back tears the moment she saw the Eucharistic Host lifted before her. No one told her how to react. She just knew🥹 Video credit - mercydivinemusic .
