This is 100% what would’ve happened because it’s exactly how he recruits Gwen in the movie. Specifically he waits till she says “I don’t know how to fix it.” He only tells people about the canon when he knows they’re completely lost cause that’s when it’ll be easiest to accept.

Did we need to use Blue for this? This arc is where the overuse of Blue problem really starts. Before this they’ve used Blue the most but it’s been against opponents that necessitated it akin to SS1 being used so much in the Cell arc. Here that’s just not true.
