This should've been one of jiwon's top acting moments, no dialogue just an expression through the eyes & doing subtle acting is harder than doing explosive or dramatic acting. Tbh when watched it i had this in my mind 'she'll be getting baeksang nomination for this scene alone'

Sorry, i usually skip the scene where the couple in a drama is arguing and throwing out cringe-worthy lines, but this scene has me hooked, ive watched it over and over to catch the meaning behing every line. "I don't owe you anything, do I? " It's not like i asked for a diamond" " It'd be easier to get you a diamond. How do you worship someone? I have no idea" "You were ready to let a dog bite your arm. And yet, you find it hard to hold a woman? You think it's cool to endure pain with clenched teeth, and it's dull to have a cute, happy life with a woman? Which is harder? Getting your arm bitten of by a dog n getting your nose broken, or being nice to the woman you like?" DAMN! Seeing that post about how romcom isn’t an easy genre just randomly made me wanna appreciate the way kim jiwon embodied choi aera! A little flirty, chaotic, loud, dramatic, crying one second then bouncing back like a queen the next, kinda unhinged, kinda pathetic but also the stongest and lovable character and she made it look effortless too???
