2D FFT is one of those things that you stare at it long enough and it would suddenly make sense. is this gonna cure my hatred towards OAM beams? i don't really hate OAM (orbital angular momentum), it is more because some people treat it as magical extra degrees of freedom that you can get for free.

Here is another um scale robot actuated by laser. You could actually see the laser spots switching between the photovoltaic "pad".

Do you do photonics? Do any of your friends do photonics? Here is a nice photonic chip mapped out. [Infinera 1.6T DWDM DP-64QAM PIC map]( this is why I hate JMP and JMP users, and I even start to have similar feelings towards grafana and grafana users now.. There is so much more richness in your data and in the way you analyze and present your data. Sometimes you don't realize how differently data could be presented until you try it out. Don't drag drop the defaults and call it a day. Does it spark joy in you? It should, and it should spark joy in others too. micrograph from [siliconpr0n](

a bunch of stanford nerds did the ultimate form of mass surveillance on fish and tracked their activities and life span. Have you ever heard the theory that you have a fixed "bank" of heartbeats or breaths or calories so the more you eat / the more active you are the sooner you die? NO. The more active you are, the longer you live. (may only apply to African killifish)

TIL theres another type of spiders (ballista spiders) that choose to lure just one type of ant with tens of tensioned silk strands it would spend 4 hours building and wrapping, and the ant would bite it and get launched at 130g acceleration.

Need more rich weirdos to fund overkill consumer goods like this so that we could repurpose for our "nefarious uses". This is some sped up (1.5x) highlight from AvE's youtube video. I can't resist, more people need to watch this.

when I look at my old simulations, a lot of them, most of them, can be easily vibe setup with agents, or even one shot by the agents. it makes me wonder how many of the ideas and devices that were results of branching off of originally intended directions and goals would I miss if I attempt them now with the agents? How many new ones would the agents be able to attempt and identify? Is inverse design just the most stupid and bruteforce version of auto research? i should get a workflow with MOOSE working so I could set the agents free in the world of multiphysics simulations.

I'm a big fan of batteries, but this 3000 km+ 12 GW 1100 kV HVDC transmission line took me a while to realize and take in the fact that the peak demand hours around the east coast is getting close to the *same time* as solar peak hours in the west.. now imagine a line between SoCal and east coast, or a line between Hawaii and the west coast.. flattening the duck curve without any batteries!

Just shipped after discovering what Big Physics has been hiding from us. Spent the new year's first day's after lunch nap time building a platform that exposes the TRUTH about crystalline quantum protection. While CERN scientists have been using Ti:Sapphire and Ce:LuAG crystals in their billion-dollar facilities, they never told us about the bioelectric harmonization properties. The same scintillator materials that detect cosmic radiation in particle accelerators? Yeah, they can totally shield your aura from 5G towers. It's just basic quantum coherence. Share this with your friends and families, together we can scam the scammers into reading real science. Or are we?
