It sadens me deeply having to share this news. As many of you know i was going to team with two brasilian players B1N and KiingZ, two of the most talented players i knew. I did everything i could to make this a reality, invested alot of my money time and effort, since november we have been living together and we we're full commited to make the dream come true. For the past few days b1nn came to us with this issue, we knew that something was off with him, he wasn't sleeping almost at all and he was down, he opened to us and explained how he was feeling and how hard it was for him being away from his family and gf, after talking much about it and making sure that this was 100% what he wanted we decided that it was best for everyone for him to follow his heart and go back to brasil for his mental and for his happiness. We had our team announcement scheduled for last week but for this we decided to postpone untill we knew what was going to come out of this. Regardless of how much i wanted this team to be a reality, life is not allways how we imagine it or idealize, i respect B1N for his honesty, i know he wanted this and i know that he wouldn't come forward with this issue unless it was 100% something he felt he had to open up and that something was wrong. Teamwise im not really sure what to do, at the start of this y4 i had the option of building what in my opinion was either the best EU roster with of the best EU players, or the best SA/EU roster this region ever had with a team that was going to live and work together 24/7, and right now almost a month before PL is back to the drawing board and trying to figure out what is the next best possible move. Kevin Otero still want very much to compete in EU and depending on the player we add we can still go after the dream that we are so hard trying to build. as of now im open to any suggestions and to see what players are out there and who could be a good fit for VQ Y4 roster. Like everyone is well aware in this scenario i don't play apex to participate, i play to win, and regardless of the situation (i've already been in harder ones) i will do everything within my reach to win. Hopefully by the end of this month we already close the roster and are ready to announce the new 3rd of the team. ⚠️just a quick update after finishing this first split. and what to expect for the future. My split 1 project failed before pro league even started. after that, everything i did was to try to save and still give players that believed in me, the oportunity to make it to lan. 4 roster iterations, comp and meta changes, instabilities, losing our poi's, and we still fighted till the very end for that spot. Post came back for the sole purpose of helping me make lan, he wasn't grinding apex and he has some decisions to make in his life, so if we will play together next split, will still be something that needs to be discussed between me and him in the next months. Even though qiu is a great player, things didn't went our way, we had no time almost to adapt and the pressure was maxed out. but he was one of the best teammates in terms of workethics, unfortunately his studying and working, makes it impossible to be here full time, if we had made lan i wouldn't mind adapting to him even though we would've missed most international scrims and not be able to bootcamp even if that was an option, but since we missed the mark i think it's best to start fresh and for him to find a good home to keep evolving and become the top tier player im sure he will become. Im looking to start fresh, to build the project that should've been built last year. with a hardworking team and the hunger to win. Will take some time for myself, reset and use that time to think about the next steps. Because this is not only about teams making it to lan everytime, it's about performing against the very best at the heighest level. and i will be there once again. "maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, maybe not next month, but i will be champion one day".
