The world is in chaos. Violent protests, rioting and looting in France. No end in sight to the deepening crisis in the Gulf. Unrest everywhere. Then there is AI and the potential doomsday scenarios it brings. Imagine if people in Europe, with some of the best social services in the world, are unhappy, what must be the level of dissatisfaction among people living in third-world countries? Is humanity on a self-destructive path? The prospects certainly don’t look bright. I wouldn’t say the world is nearing its end, but it does feel as if something extraordinary is going to happen. What emerges from this chaos is anyone’s guess.
