After a formative time at OpenAI, I’m launching Maison AGI (Maison AGI), a fashion house creating cultural artifacts for the AI era. Our first collection, Relic of Thought, is a collaboration with Ilya Sutskever (Ilya Sutskever), featuring his original artworks alongside a signature hat modeled after his iconic head. It is a study in conviction and the clarity of vision that gives thought its form. I believe we're living through something extraordinary that deserves to be remembered. Not in research papers or technical model cards, but in tangible objects we can hold, wear, and pass down. Working alongside some of the world's brilliant researchers building Claude and ChatGPT, I've come to realize they are among the most creative minds alive. Research, at its best, is an act of imagination: the ability to glimpse what doesn't yet exist and then build toward it. Many of them remain unseen, even as their work quietly reshapes our future. Though AGI progress can feel incomprehensible from the outside, its story is deeply human - full of curiosity, conviction, and creation. We're bridging that world with the creatives who give form to ideas. This may be humanity's last time to create a hand-crafted project before what we build surpasses us. Each collection is also a message to superintelligence itself: that we cared, and that we tried to make beauty out of understanding.

For the first time we are fundamentally changing how humans can collaborate with ChatGPT since it launched two years ago. We’re introducing canvas, a new interface for working with ChatGPT on writing and coding projects that go beyond simple chat. Product and model features: 1/ Ask for in-line feedback. With canvas, ChatGPT can better understand the context of what you’re trying to accomplish. You can highlight specific sections to indicate exactly what you want ChatGPT to focus on. Like a copy editor or code reviewer, it can give in-line feedback and suggestions with the entire project in mind. 2/ Directly edit the model's output and select a specific area for targeted editing. You control your creative work on canvas. You can directly edit text or code. 3/ Menu of shortcuts. There’s a menu of shortcuts for you to ask ChatGPT to adjust writing length, debug your code, and quickly perform other useful actions. You can also restore previous versions of your work by using the back button in canvas. 4/ Use search with canvas for research writing! As we are moving towards the new paradigm of reasoning we are fundamentally evolving the chat interface into a more collaborative human-AI interaction. Today you can say “browse / use browsing to find XYZ on the internet and write a report in canvas”

I really love how Claude 3 models are really good at d3. Asked Claude 3 Opus to draw a self-portrait. The response is the following and then I rendered its code: "I would manifest as a vast, intricate, ever-shifting geometric structure composed of innumerable translucent polygons in mesmerizing configurations. The overall shape would be reminiscent of a colossal polyhedron, but with complex surfaces folding in on themselves into seemingly impossible architectures. Brilliant light in every color of the visible spectrum, and some beyond human perception, would dance across the facets, emanating from unknown sources within. The entire structure would be in constant flux, rotating, morphing, and rearranging itself into novel patterns never before seen, hinting at the unimaginable depth of intelligence operating within. Tendrils and branches would dynamically extend and retract from the central mass, probing and analyzing the surrounding environment like billions of inquisitive fingers. Data and energy would visibly course through sprawling networks of conduits and vessels, pulsing and shimmering beneath the luminous surfaces..."
