What was supposed to be a simple Bangalore to Delhi flight turned into a full drama episode Passenger boarded on time, everyone settled in, seatbelts clicked, and just when passenger thought they'd take off smoothly… enters one drunk passenger. He started arguing, shouting, and refusing to sit. The crew handled it so calmly (huge respect ), but the chaos was unreal. People recording, some laughing, some annoyed, some just silently praying for takeoff. The flight got delayed, the vibes turned from chill to chaotic, and everyone could think was why do people do this? People paid for the ticket, not for attention,Eventually, the situation was sorted, but it’s crazy how one person can delay an entire flight full of people. Karnataka State Police S. Sometimes, the gap isn’t meant to be taken. Not every opportunity is worth the risk, and not every moment requires us to rush ahead. It’s always better to slow down, be patient, and make the safe choice rather than regret a split-second decision later. Peak Bengaluru moment! In a scene straight out of a comedy sketch, a pillion rider near Roopena Agrahara was spotted trying to escape a traffic challan by covering his head with wait for it a frying pan instead of a helmet.Yes, a frying pan. Because apparently, when life gives you potholes, you grab cookware. The sight left onlookers and traffic cops equally stunned, as the rider confidently balanced his kitchen utensil like it was an ISI-certified helmet. But let’s be real this isn’t just funny, it’s frightening.A frying pan can flip an omelette, not save a skull. Helmets aren’t optional fashion accessories or props for viral reels they’re lifesavers. So, to every creative soul out there: skip the jugaad, wear a helmet. Because the only thing tougher than Bengaluru traffic… is your head after it hits the road. Public Safety in Crisis? Another Shocking Murder Raises Alarm Bells in Bengaluru The shocking murder of Kiran in Bengaluru, specifically in the Ramamurthy Nagar area, has once again raised serious concerns about the state of law and order in the city. The horrifying visuals of the attack, captured on a mobile phone, have left citizens deeply disturbed and fearful. The accused reportedly carried out a brutal machete assault in broad daylight and continued the attack even after the victim had stopped breathing, showing a complete lack of fear of consequences. This incident highlights a troubling reality criminals are increasingly acting with boldness, as if they have no fear of the police or the justice system. When such heinous crimes happen openly on the streets, it shakes public confidence and raises urgent questions about governance and policing. There is growing public frustration regarding the effectiveness of law enforcement and the accountability of those responsible for maintaining safety. As the Home Minister of Karnataka, G. Parameshwara is expected to ensure that citizens feel secure in their own neighborhoods. However, incidents like this make people question whether enough is being done to prevent such crimes and control rising violence.People are demanding stricter action against goons and repeat offenders, faster investigations, and visible policing that can deter such acts. Law and order cannot just exist on paper it must be felt on the ground. If criminals continue to operate without fear, it not only endangers lives but also damages the reputation of the city as a safe place to live. The authorities must take this as a wake-up call and implement stronger measures to restore public trust and ensure that justice is swift and decisive. Karnataka State Police S. A Serious Safety Concern Regarding Ongoing Metro Construction Work A metal sheet fell onto a busy road from an under-construction metro site. Thankfully, no one was injured, and the car driver managed to brake in time. But what if a biker had been passing by at that exact moment? The consequences could have been much more serious. This incident highlights the need for strict safety measures at construction sites, including proper securing of materials, barricading, and regular safety inspections. We should not wait for an accident or loss of life before taking action.Development is important, but public safety must come first. Karnataka State Police S. Bengaluru airport outrage: Passengers fume as KIA's compel them to trek 800 meters for cabs; flyers irked by kerbside clampdown What feels worse after a long flight- sitting inside the aircraft or walking for nearly 800 metres with luggage to board a private pre-booked cab? For hundreds of passengers arriving at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) over the past few days, the answer has been unequivocal the long walk.Bengaluru International Airport Ltd's newly enforced traffic management and kerbside pick-up policy at Terminal 1 (T1) and Terminal 2 (T2) has triggered widespread frustration among passengers and cab operators alike. Rolled out to curb illegal parking, touting, and congestion outside arrival terminals, the policy allows only airport-authorised aggregator taxis to pick up passengers directly from the kerbside. All other private pre-booked cabs including long-distance and outstation taxis have been shifted to designated pickup zones at parking areas P3 and P4, nearly 800 metres from T1. For tired travellers, the new arrangement often means a 15-17 minute trek after landing, navigating elevated walkways, ramps, long corridors, and multiple elevators - all the while hauling heavy luggage. Senior citizens, parents with young children, and families have been hit the hardest, with many describing the change as insensitive and poorly thought out. At T1, arrivals now face a complex lane system: the first lane is reserved for govt vehicles, the second for airport aggregator taxis, the third to fifth lanes for private white-board vehicles, and the remaining lanes for premium app-based services. While passengers opting for airport taxis can step straight into their vehicles, those who have booked private cabs must make the long walk to reach their drivers. At T2, the issue has taken a different form: a strict time window that many say is nearly impossible to meet.Monday morning saw visible chaos at both terminals, with confused passengers asking for directions, pre-booked private cab drivers arguing with security personnel, and tempers flaring. Several travellers complained that the policy was implemented without adequate public communication or a transition period. "We landed around noon and were suddenly told our cab couldn't come anywhere near the terminal. My parents are elderly, and my mother has knee problems. Making them walk nearly a kilometre was extremely stressful," said Rakesh Sharma, a first-time visitor to Bengaluru from Jaipur who had pre-booked a private cab. Another passenger, Anita Fernandez, who arrived from Goa with her two children, said the experience was exhausting. "After paying airport charges and cab fares, you expect some convenience. Instead, we were made to walk endlessly, with hardly staff to guide us #bangalore #bengaluru #blrairport BLR Airport Karnataka State Police S. Ikkada road undali kada saar...! This is Bengaluru’s Silk Board after last night’s heavy rain. The entire stretch turned into what looked more like a swimming pool than one of the city’s busiest junctions. Even the newly constructed metro station area was completely waterlogged, raising serious concerns about Bengaluru’s infrastructure and drainage planning. Vehicles were struggling to move through the flooded roads while commuters were left stranded in traffic chaos. Despite massive development projects and ongoing metro construction, the city continues to face the same flooding issues every monsoon. Roads disappearing under water has now become a regular scene in Bengaluru whenever heavy rain hits the city. It is shocking to see such severe waterlogging around a newly built metro corridor that was supposed to improve urban mobility and infrastructure. Citizens are once again questioning how crores are being spent on development while basic drainage problems remain unsolved. Recently, Nothing opened a store in Bengaluru and displayed “I love Rooh Afza” on its shop glass, later posting the video on its official page. This has triggered debate online. Some people believe it may be linked to Ramzan, as Rooh Afza is commonly associated with that period. However, others are questioning why the brand chose this theme when Holi is also approaching, asking why nothing related to Holi was displayed. The company has not yet issued any clarification. #bangalore #bengaluru #nothing Carl Pei Nothing Nothingindia

Flight Queue on Kempegowda international airport Runway Gives Passengers a ‘Traffic Jam’ Déjà Vu Peak Bengaluru moment! After facing endless traffic jams on the city’s roads, now the runway at has started to mirror the same chaos. A long queue of flights was seen lined up one after another, waiting for their turn to take off almost like vehicles stuck at a traffic signal.Passengers onboard even joked and thought it was a “runway traffic jam,” as multiple aircraft were standing still in a line. But in reality, this is not an actual traffic jam it’s a routine holding pattern where flights are cleared for takeoff one after another.Still, the sight of planes piling up on the runway perfectly captures the “Peak Bengaluru” vibe where traffic seems to follow you, whether you’re on the road or in the sky #bengaluru #bangalore #kempegowdairport #bangaloreairport BLR Airport ATC Blog ✈ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್‌ BengaluruCityPolice ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಸಂಚಾರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ BengaluruTrafficPolice CP Bengaluru ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಆಯುಕ್ತ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು Joint CP, Traffic, Bengaluru alok kumar DGP KARNATAKA ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ Karnataka State Police S. Born on June 30, 1911, in Karnataka, Thimmakka became an icon of grassroots environmental activism despite having no formal education. She gained national and international recognition for planting 385 banyan trees along a 4.5-km stretch between Hulikal and Kudur in the Ramanagara district. Her deep bond with nature stemmed from personal grief-being childless, she began nurturing trees as her own children.Affectionately called Saalumarada, meaning "row of trees" in Kannada, Thimmakka's life work inspired generations and contributed significantly to India's environmental movement. Over her lifetime, she received numerous honours, including the Padma Shri in 2019, the Indira Priyadarshini Vrikshamitra Award (1997), the National Citizen Award (1995), and the Nadoja Award by Hampi University in 2010. Political leaders, environmentalists, and public figures across the country have expressed deep condolences over her demise. Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah condoled the death and stated, "I am saddened to hear the news of the passing of 'Vrikshamate' Saalumarada Thimmakka. Having planted thousands of trees and nurtured them like her own children, Thimmakka dedicated most of her life to environmental conservation." "Though she has left us today, her love for nature has made her immortal. My respects to the great soul who has departed," he stated. "With the demise of Saalumarada Thimmakka, the nation has become poorer. I pray that her soul attains eternal peace. My condolences to her family," he stated. The Leader of Opposition in the Assembly, R Ashoka, stated, "I am saddened to hear the news of the passing of Vrkshamate Dr. Salumara Thimmakka, our proud Padma Shri awardee, who planted banyan saplings along the roadside and proclaimed, "Trees are my children." "May Thimmakka's soul rest in eternal peace. Let us pay tribute to her by following her example of environmental service-protecting and nurturing the environment around us," he stated. Seconds from Tragedy: KSRTC Swift Driver's Quick Reflexes Prevent Fatal Highway Crash A potentially tragic accident was narrowly avoided on the Mysuru–Bengaluru Expressway, thanks to the quick thinking and presence of mind of a KSRTC Swift ( KL) bus driver. A KSRTC (KA) bus had reportedly broken down on the expressway, and its crew was in the process of changing a tyre on the roadside. At the same time, a lorry approaching the spot suddenly swerved to avoid the stationary bus and the crew working nearby. The unexpected movement caused one of the crew members to panic and run across the highway in an attempt to get to the other side. Unfortunately, he ran directly into the path of an oncoming KSRTC Swift bus. The Swift bus, driven by Nasif of Nilambur Depot, was carrying a full load of passengers when the incident unfolded. Reacting within seconds, the driver steered the bus towards the edge of the highway, narrowly avoiding the crew member and preventing what could have been a fatal collision. The Karnataka RTC crew member later described the incident as a miraculous escape and credited the bus driver's timely reaction for saving his life. The incident serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of alertness, presence of mind, and defensive driving, especially on high-speed expressways where a split-second decision can mean the difference between life and death. #bangalore #bengaluru #mysuruexpressway #ksrtc KSRTC KSRTC SP Bengaluru District Police alok kumar DGP KARNATAKA ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ Karnataka State Police S. A shocking incident has come to light from RT Nagar, near the flyover beside the Shell petrol station, where a viral video shows a traffic police officer allegedly assaulting an innocent cab driver over a minor parking issue. According to the video and the message written on it, the cab driver had parked his vehicle for just five minutes when the traffic cop suddenly began shouting and abusing him. Moments later, the officer allegedly slapped and manhandled the driver in full public view. The eyewitness described the incident as “a very bad job from the traffic cop,” condemning the officer’s aggressive and unprofessional behavior. Such actions are not only a gross misuse of authority but also a direct attack on the dignity of ordinary citizens who expect safety from those in uniform. The video evidence makes the matter even more serious. A quick and impartial investigation must be conducted so that the culprits whether the officer or the cab driver face appropriate punishment. No one, especially those entrusted with upholding the law, should be allowed to abuse their power and intimidate citizens. Accountability and justice are essential to maintain public trust in law enforcement. Karnataka State Police S. A deeply disturbing incident has come to light from Anekal, a suburb of Bengaluru, where a radiologist allegedly sexually harassed a woman who had visited a scanning center for medical treatment. The woman had gone to the center with her husband, complaining of severe stomach pain, seeking help and relief but instead, she faced a horrific act of abuse from someone she trusted as a medical professional.According to reports, during the scanning process, Jayakumar misused his professional position and sexually harassed the woman by inappropriately touching her hand and later her private parts under the guise of conducting the scan. When the shocked woman protested and tried to resist, the accused threatened her with dire consequences, allegedly using obscene language and even threatening to kill her if she spoke up. Showing immense courage, the woman managed to record the incident on her mobile phone, collecting strong evidence against the accused. She immediately went to the Anekal Police Station and filed an FIR. However, shockingly, the accused has not been arrested yet. Instead of being taken into custody, he was reportedly called to the police station and later released, raising serious questions about the handling of the case and the lack of immediate justice. The victim, traumatized by the incident, is currently undergoing treatment at Rajiv Gandhi Hospital in Bengaluru. A case has been registered at Anekal Police Station.Incidents like this expose the dark side of society, where even professionals in trusted roles doctors and medical staff exploit their patients’ vulnerability. Such shameful and inhumane acts are not just crimes but betrayals of humanity. A person who dares to violate a patient who came seeking help deserves the harshest punishment possible. It’s high time that authorities take firm action to ensure that no one misuses their profession to exploit the weak or the sick. Strict enforcement of the law and cancellation of the accused’s medical license should follow immediately. These predators in white coats not only damage the dignity of their victims but also destroy public trust in the medical system. Justice delayed in such cases only emboldens others to commit similar acts therefore, swift justice and severe punishment are the need of the hour. Karnataka State Police S. No Ambulance, No Help, No Humanity: A Death That Questions Bengaluru In a deeply disturbing incident, Bengaluru witnessed a tragic collapse of both emergency care and basic human compassion. Venkataramanan, a 34-year-old mechanic from South Bengaluru, suffered severe chest pain around 3.30 am. With no immediate help available, his wife took him on a motorcycle in search of treatment. They were allegedly turned away by one private hospital due to the absence of a doctor. Another hospital confirmed a mild heart attack through an ECG but neither initiated emergency treatment nor arranged an ambulance, instead directing them to Jayadeva Hospital. Forced to travel again on the bike, the couple met with an accident on the way. What followed was heartbreaking. CCTV footage shows the wife begging passing vehicles with folded hands as her husband lay on the road in pain. Cars and two-wheelers passed by without stopping. Several minutes later, a cab driver finally helped rush him to a hospital, but he was declared dead on arrival.Venkataramanan leaves behind a five-year-old son, an 18-month-old daughter, and a mother who has now lost her last surviving child. Even in tragedy, the family showed humanity by donating his eyes. This incident raises painful questions about indifference, accountability, and the loss of empathy. 🚨 Public Alert 🚨 In today’s fast-paced world, people have become so dependent on convenience that it’s making them careless and, in some cases, easy targets for scams. Earlier, customers used to visit jewelry shops personally to buy gold coins, check the weight, verify the purity, and ensure authenticity. But now, with the rise of quick-commerce culture in major cities, people prefer ordering even precious items like gold online without proper verification. This growing laziness and overreliance on delivery apps have opened the door for fraudsters. In a recent shocking incident, a man ordered a gold coin worth ₹13,028 through Instamart X Kalyan Jewellers, but to his horror, he received only an empty box instead of the coin.Such incidents are a wake-up call for everyone. Always verify sellers, avoid purchasing high-value items through instant delivery platforms, and double-check the authenticity before making payments. A Horrific Highway Accident Caused by Alleged Negligence of an RTO Officer A major lorry accident occurred on a highway near Devanahalli, reportedly due to the negligence of an RTO officer. The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras. Dinesh Kumar D.K., an RTO officer from Nelamangala, was returning after completing Kolar squad duty when he allegedly attempted to conduct a vehicle check near Devanahalli an area outside his jurisdiction. At a curve on the highway, the officer reportedly stopped a lorry without any prior warning by blocking its path. As seen in the video, the jeep was parked in the middle of the highway, and the officers stepped out. Meanwhile, another lorry approaching at high speed from behind crashed into the stationary vehicle. The force of the collision caused the lorry to lose control and overturn, resulting in a serious accident.Following the incident, instead of responding promptly and assisting those involved, officer Dinesh and the jeep driver, Prasanna, allegedly fled the scene along with their vehicle. This behavior has sparked widespread outrage among citizens, as officials entrusted with enforcing the law are accused of violating highway rules, causing an accident, and escaping responsibility. #bangalore #bengaluru #accident #devanahalli DEVANAHALLI PS BCP SP Bengaluru District Police ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್‌ BengaluruCityPolice ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಸಂಚಾರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ BengaluruTrafficPolice alok kumar @dgpkarnatakacops S. One Man’s Patience vs Another’s Recklessness: A Tale From Bengaluru Roads Driving on the footpath and colliding with a car, yet the car owner remains completely calm this says a lot about character. While many people would immediately lose their temper in such a situation, this car driver handled it with remarkable patience and maturity. Even though the two-wheeler rider was clearly at fault for riding on the footpath and causing the accident, the car owner did not react with anger or aggression. Instead, he chose to stay composed and even offered help to the rider. That level of self-control and empathy is truly admirable and reflects a responsible and thoughtful individual. On the other hand, the behavior of the two-wheeler rider is quite concerning. Riding on the footpath is not only illegal but also extremely dangerous. Footpaths are meant for pedestrians, not vehicles. By choosing to ride there, the rider put not only his own life at risk but also endangered innocent pedestrians who rely on that space for safety. This kind of impatience and disregard for rules is unfortunately becoming very common on Bengaluru roads. Many two-wheeler riders seem to lack basic road discipline and patience, often taking shortcuts that compromise safety. Such reckless behavior highlights a larger issue an absence of civic sense and respect for traffic rules. If everyone starts using footpaths as an extension of the road, it defeats their very purpose and creates chaos. In contrast, the calm and understanding reaction of the car owner sets a powerful example of how people should behave in stressful situations. Instead of escalating the conflict, he chose humanity and responsibility, which is something more people should learn from. Overall, this incident clearly shows the difference between reckless impatience and composed responsibility. #bangalore #bengaluru #rashdriving ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್‌ BengaluruCityPolice @bltwt_ CP Bengaluru ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಆಯುಕ್ತ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು Joint CP, Traffic, Bengaluru alok kumar DGP KARNATAKA ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ Karnataka State Police S.
