This navaratri, had the divine opportunity to participate in and perform 108 Kanyaka Devi Puja at the historical Sri Vasavi Kanyaka Parameswari temple in Chennai Georgetown. In Hinduism, we consider all women as Shakti amsham. We see goddess kanyakumari in young girls. Accordingly, I propitiated the 108 young devi roopinis and sought their blessings. This auspicious celebration was organised by Adyar Arya Vaishya Association under Sri Ranganayakalu. Thank you Ranganayakulu P Ranga garu for giving me this divine opportunity. May Devi durgama trishakti mahishasura mardhini bless us all. May the blessings of Durga lakshmi and Saraswati be upon us. Happy #Ayudhapuja #SaraswatiPuja #durgapujo #Vijayadashami

Everything Aparna Kurup said here is factual. She spoke up against the entrenched misogyny and patriarchy among Kerala's Islamic institutions . She and her channel BigTV were forced to apologise. I expected the women of Keralam to rally behind Ms Kurup. I expected progressive muslims to support her... Wait, never mind.

Strongly condemn tirupparankundram MLA Minister Nirmal Kumar's statement on deepam issue. TVK = DMK 2.0 ? This is contempt of court. This is contempt of people. This is ultimate disrespect to the many who lost lives and livelyhood fighting for our collective history. Purnachandran's family still not rehabilitated. You can be anti BJP but don't you dare be anti hindu.

Audio clip of EV Ramasamy calling for the total annihilation of brahmins . Had he had his way, there would be no TMKrishna to sing his praises, nor NMurali or NRam to deny the systematic vilification and persecution of their own kin for nearly a century

Not surprised that Mr Kamal Hassan sold out to DMK. Surprised that he sold out so cheap. Just a single Rajya sabha seat. Big slap to those who joined maiam in the hope of bringing a change. Sad part is he cud have easily become president nominated MP ! He is most deserving!
