I didn't really feel that my furnished apartment needed re-plastering. The nuthatches feel differently. I wouldn't generally expect to re-plaster shelves... and do they have an issue with my choice of picture???? What's next?😲😂 #GwylltHollow #Nuthatches

Today, my beautiful speckledy hen, Celendine, & my gorgeous cockerel, Comfrey, were killed by 3 dogs who rampaged through my garden. So glad Teasel & Wren were indoors. I know them all individually & I’m traumatised and heartbroken. Please keep dogs under control around gardens.

Goodbye sweet girl 💔 Yesterday I had to say goodbye to my dear Teasel after she was killed on the road near my home. I am heartbroken and she will leave a big hole in our lives. I buried her in my meadow and a new bench will mark the spot. Loved you so much sweet Teasel 💔

When I removed the avacado shower tray from the old caravan, I thought it would make a good wildlife waterhole outside the new hide. Surprisingly easy to do and the plug means it can be emptied easily. I’m actually really chuffed with this 😍

This swallow, having travelled all the way from Africa, checks out the nest cup from last year. It just blows my mind that it has travelled so far, to come back to this precise location at #YewView. I hope they manage to raise several broods here this year. RSPB

I built a bench over Teasel’s grave in my meadow. A place where Wren and I can sit and think of her. I will surround it with Teasels for the bees in Summer and birds in Autumn. A fitting tribute to such a special girl 💔❤️

At #YewView, we have a wildlife pond and the kingfisher is visiting regularly. Sometimes, he uses this perch when he has caught something. The snow was the icing on the cake, to really highlight the beauty of this bird!😍🥰

When I took on some rescue hens last year from @freshstart4hens , they looked pretty sad. This is the reality of life for many chickens, bred to produce eggs and then slaughtered at a young age😢 A year on…… now look at them!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

If all goes according to plan, this could be mine…. Just had my offer accepted on the wildlife haven of my dreams in Carmarthenshire, Wales. What a journey we are going to have when I get into this 2 acre plot 😍😍😍😍😍😍#SSSI #NatureReserve 😳🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🦡🦊🐞🪲🐝🕷️🐸🐦‍⬛🐛
