Queen Farah Pahlavi and several prominent Iranian figures attended the event, marking a significant moment for Iran’s royal family. Prior to the Paris celebration, the couple formally registered their marriage at the Manhattan Marriage Registry Office in New York. Pahlavi and Sherman first met in 2017 through mutual friends and announced their engagement in 2023, during a private proposal on a Florida beach. Born in Washington, D.C. in 1993, Iman Pahlavi is the second daughter of Prince Reza Pahlavi and Princess Yasmine Pahlavi. She earned degrees in Communications and Psychology from the University of Michigan and currently serves as a Senior Manager at American Express. Sherman, originally from Arizona, holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona and has built a career in finance and investment. He is currently the CEO of Luchy, a company specializing in information technology and tech innovation.
