Imagine doing your job, asking a customer to pay… and getting slapped for it. A tea seller in Jodhpur, India, reportedly asked a police officer to pay for his tea. Instead of simply paying, the officer allegedly slapped him across the face. And the whole thing was caught on camera. What bothers me most isn’t the price of the tea. It’s the abuse of power. A uniform should never make someone believe they’re above the people they’re supposed to protect. Respect shouldn’t depend on your job, your income or how much power you have. Sometimes character shows most clearly in how you treat someone who has less power than you.

RIP Dolly Parton 💔 Today we say goodbye to more than a country music legend. We say goodbye to a woman whose music touched generations. I was a huge fan of Dolly’s music, and one performance I’ll never forget was when she performed with her goddaughter Miley Cyrus on Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party going into 2023. Their performance of “Wrecking Ball” and “I Will Always Love You” was something special. Two generations coming together, and pure magic. Dolly came from humble beginnings as one of twelve children in Tennessee and went on to build an extraordinary career spanning more than six decades. She gave the world timeless songs such as “Jolene,” “9 to 5,” and “I Will Always Love You.” But her legacy went far beyond music. Through her Imagination Library, she helped provide books to millions of children and encouraged generations to discover the joy of reading. What I always loved about Dolly was that despite her incredible success, she never seemed to lose her warmth, humor and humanity. Some artists simply make hit songs. Others become part of people’s lives and memories. Dolly Parton was one of those artists for me. Rest in peace, Dolly. I will always love you. ❤️
