Of all of the egregious defense from James Harden in Game 1 of the ECF, this was the one that got me the most. The initial double is fine, and backing out is fine when Brunson pulls back. But then Harden does nothing. And I mean nothing. He's not doubling, or even hard hedging. He's not guarding Bridges. Just stands in no-man's land while allowing Jalen Brunson to get the easy assist to Mikal Bridges, who is wide-open in the strongside corner, one pass away.

This isn't a criticism of Kevin Durant, but of the Suns as a whole. If Jaylen Wells is going to faceguard Durant like this off-ball, you have to get your main guy freed up with a screen. Phoenix just sort of let it happen, and the result was a not-great shot as the clock wound down. This was just one example of a few times that this happened late in the game.

Kon Knueppel hit a couple of sidestep corner threes like this last night. This is a more difficult shot than it looks for a young player. This one came after a fake to free himself up. Good stuff here. (Aside: Don't adjust the opponent downsize again. Start Knueppel!)

Aaron Wiggins is on a heater right now. He's using his jumper to open up the rest of his game too. This is a good job to lift the defender before using the rim to protect his reverse against the shot blocker. Wiggins has become the Thunder's best bench weapon this season.
