FAVERSHAM: Armed police were dispatched just after 8.30pm last night to a male with a knife allegedly making threats at a home in Breeze Meadow near Western Link. A man (25) was arrested for suspected attempted GBH, threats to kill and possession of a knife. Vid: Lotty’s Flowers.

FOLKESTONE: Video has emerged of a disturbance at Tops Pizza shop, Black Bull Rd, apparently filmed last week. People who came to the shop and staff were seen throwing things at each other, including tubs of Häagen Dazs, and one man was allegedly smashing someone’s phone outside.

LONGFIELD: Footage has emerged of a Range Rover leaving the forecourt of Farrins Service & MOT Centre on the Main Road around 4.15pm yesterday and crashing into a bus at the roundabout. The bus was jolted by the impact but didn’t stop. Police say they want to find the bus driver.

DEAL: Jack Nixon, a drunk driver who crashed his car into a railway bridge in Cornwall Road in the early hours of 9 Oct 2022, killing a 21-year-old man in the vehicle, has been jailed for over 9 years. Kent Police has released footage of Nixon being breathalysed at the roadside.

NOT KENT update: Video of armed officers running down a platform at HUNTINGDON where a train had stopped after passengers were stabbed. Unconfirmed report of as many as 10 casualties. Cambridgeshire Police say two people were arrested after they were alerted at 7.39pm tonight.

EASTRY: An empty Stagecoach bus which had reportedly just dropped off 97 schoolchildren in DOVER caught fire on the A256 Eastry Bypass around 9am this morning. The fire apparently started in the engine bay of the 2008 double decker. The driver wasn’t injured. Video: Jan Spinner.

SIDCUP: Three hooded thieves repeatedly punched a man in the face and head in Halfway Street by the Royal Wings fast food shop just before 5pm yesterday. The man was with a young woman and small child. Unconfirmed report the attackers were after a Rolex watch worn by the victim.
