I seem to watch, re-watch & re-re-watch the season opener excessively every year. But Marist Liufau sure keeps it interesting. We saw flashes of this in the past. This time, though, he managed to sustain that super-hostile, flying-around-the-field mode through all 4 quarters.

#NotreDame commit Cree Thomas w/ a pair of INTs tonight, including a pick-6. Also notched a variety of key tackles - Both open-field takedowns & aggressive downhill strikes. There’s no doubt. Cree is on my shortlist of #ND commits outperforming my pre-szn expectation & ranking.

SIGNED ✍️ Will Jerome Bettis Jr. play receiver as the plan seemed to lean toward from the outset? Will his significant playmaking ability at safety lead the Georgian to the Irish defense? I sure am interested to find out. There’s potential here, no doubt.
