Labour could help out every household across these islands if they decoupled electricity prices from international gas prices, but sadly they are unwilling to do so. Successive UK Governments have failed to do this. The way to reduce electricity bills is - independence. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I took the opportunity in today’s constitution debate to say that Scotland should be free of nuclear weapons & that we should stop spending billions on weapons of mass destruction & instead bolster our public services. Nurses not Nukes, Teachers not Trident, Bairns not Bombs.

It seems that Tory, Douglas Lumsden doesn’t understand the difference between devolved & reserved powers. He should be advocating for all powers over energy to be devolved or for independence if he truly wants more community influence on electricity infrastructure decisions.
