JJ Redick on Dalton Knecht, who's entering his 3rd season with the Lakers, and his approach to training camp: "First of all, he's been a pro. He's been in the gym. Like he has since Day 1, he has worked his butt off all offseason. And he's had a good three days of practice. So I don't think his approach changes. I know he's hungry to play and hungry to earn a spot in the rotation."

Lakers first-round pick Cameron Carr through two summer league games: – vs. GSW: 19 points on 7-15 shooting, 5-11 on 3s – vs. Miami: 26 points (7-16 shooting, 4-9 on 3s), 8 rebounds Chris Mañon on Carr: "That kid can ball for sure. It's apparent he can score the ball. He's super long, so he can shoot over guys. It's definitely a good weapon to have out there. If I get in the paint, I'm always trying to find him, look out for him, because I know he'll let it fly."

JJ Redick on the Thunder: "We saw a stat in our morning meeting, teams that have had back-to-back, 10 or more better net ratings in consecutive seasons, you're talking about the '95-'96 Bulls and '96-'97 Bulls and the '15-'17 Warrriors. You're literally talking about two of the greatest teams of all time. I said to a bunch of people yesterday off site talking about this series, to me, the Thunder is one of the greatest teams ever in NBA history. It's just the reality. They're that good. I think our guys recognize that and respect that, and we know what kind of task we have in front of us."

Luka Doncic: "I went to Spain to do PRP. Everybody knows that Spain, they're just one of the best countries to do that...I know and trust lots of people from Spain. Why I was in Spain so long is because I needed four days in between every shot. So I did it four times. So that's why I stayed longer." Like I said, in the beginning they say eight weeks. So we just go from there."

JJ Redick said the way the Lakers started the game against the Warriors was "insane" and that their first half was "unacceptable". JJ: Redick: "They responded. When you draw up a first play, and then give them a second play that is a play we've scripted for ten days, or whatever it’s been, and they don't run either correctly, that's unacceptable. You're not ready to play."

Rui Hachimura on the energy in today's practice, with the Lakers aware of the challenge they have being down 0-3 to the Thunder: "It's tough. They are championship [team] for a reason. We focus on a lot on Shai but I think we talk about more...we should have talked about more other guys. They're killing us. Especially when Shai is off the court, we're really losing those minutes. He tried to go and it just didn’t feel right for him and it sucks...I know as of lately he’s been getting a lot of backlash for his effort and his play. He understands it.
