#WATCH | On a viral showing him slapping a boy for taking a selfie with him, actor Nana Patekar says, "A video is going viral where I have hit a boy. Though this sequence is a part of our film, we had one rehearsal...We were scheduled to have a second rehearsal. The director told me to begin. We were about to begin when the boy in the video came in. I didn't know who he was, I thought he was one of our crew so I slapped him as per the scene and I told him to leave. Later, I came to know that he was not a part of the crew. So, I was going to call him back but he ran away. Maybe his friend shot the video. I have never said no to anybody for a photo. I don't do this...This happened by mistake...If there is some misunderstanding, please forgive me...I will never do anything like this..." (Video: Nana Patekar's team)

Dwyane Wade believes he might’ve won finals MVP in 2011 and speaks on how he dealt with LeBrons ‘meltdown’ that series 👀 “I was on Bron. That’s my job. That’s our relationship. Two of best players in the game is to pull that out of each other. Going into Dallas I felt we had two mis matches. I felt no one could guard me, no one could guard him. They may be the better team possibly but we got the two best players… When I saw him not perform the way he’s been since he was on ESPN in high school I was like ‘what’s going on?’ Idk if I approached it the right way but I was on Bron to wake up…. I wanted to get to the root of it because bro, this is why we got together. He couldn’t get out of it, he struggled a little bit. I felt I had the best series and a chance to win finals MVP if we win, I had a really good series. I feel like I failed my leadership responsibilities. I just know we didn’t get the LeBron we got the next 3 years which is unfortunate because I felt nobody could guard him in that series… I was mad, because I wanted us to put the middle finger up to all the haters” (Via Zach Lowe / DWade)

Gary Payton says Udonis Haslem was the reason they won in the 2006 NBA finals: “He’s the reason we won the championship. Basically. He got in Dirk. When we contained their superstar, and made other players get in position they weren’t used to being in, we took off. We won 4 in a row. Dirk was killing us in the first two games. He gets back in MIA and we eliminated him… We were basically a Udonis Haslem fan. I was. When I told him ‘UD stick in him, stay in him because he wants to go off one leg, make him uncomfortable.’ Udonis made him uncomfortable for 4 straight games. Very uncomfortable.” (Via Miami HEAT YT)

Darko on what Gradey Dick needs to do to re-enter the rotation: “Gradey Dick is a very talented young player. He was a big part of the rotation at the start of the season.” “One thing we know about Gradey is that he’s going to put the work in. I had a great conversation with him yesterday.” “He needs to be able to learn from that experience, and he needs to come back and be ready to contribute next year. That means on both ends of the floor.” “Defensively, he needs to make a big step there. He needs to be more consistent of a shooter.” “We know he’s going to put the work in. We believe in him, and I think he’s going to be just fine coming out of this summer.” On why he decided to go with Jamison Battle and AJ Lawson over Gradey Dick in the playoffs: “Jamison Battle showed us over the course of this season that he changed the course of some of the games with his shooting. “AJ Lawson, I think, was one of the best players this past season in the G League, in guarding the ball, and we used him in those moments when we really needed extremely high pressure on the ball.” “I think he did a great job there in Game 6. He really helped us get a stop against Dennis Schröder in the full-court, coming up with a steal that ended up helping us win the game.”

On 10th September 2021, BJP General (Org) Secretary B L Santhosh ji came to my home. Although he didn’t say it directly, I knew why he was there. I asked him, “When should I resign?” He was shocked and asked, “How do you know why I’m here?” I said, “I’ve worked in the organisation for decades — I understand how it works. You wouldn’t come to my place for an ordinary reason. But honestly, you didn’t need to come in person for this — a call would have sufficed.” Till date, I have never asked PM Narendra Modi why I was asked to resign [This interview was recorded in October 2024]. If I had asked the reason, I would have failed as a committed party karyakarta. -Never asked for the CM post -Never asked the reason when he was asked to resign What a man he was... His commitment to the organisation is something everyone in politics should learn from. A big loss for BJP....!!

#BREAKING: MSNOW: “When President Trump said he wasn’t going to start foreign wars, when he said he was going to bring prices down, did you believe him?” MAGA voter in OH: “Yeah, yeah I mean, his first term I think he held true to everything that he said he was going to do, I think he fought for everything he said he was going to fight for. This time I haven’t seen it…Every single pitch point he had during his election, he’s backtracking on. All we heard was drill, drill, drill during the election, and now all we’re getting is drilled into the dirt with these prices. So I’m not a fan of him. I voted for Trump all three terms, to be honest with you, I’m not a big supporter of him at this point.” 😳

Joe Montana reveals the 49ers wouldn't even let him compete for his job after winning 2 Super Bowls in a row “We had just won two Super Bowls in a row. We were when I left the game, we were still winning. And we were headed to three in a row. And I had one of the best statistical years of my career.” “And he wouldn't even let me compete for a job. And I said, 'Well, this is crazy. I know I can play. I know better than he is.' And I said, 'Just let me compete.' And he said, 'No.'” “So I said, 'Well, I'm not going to sit here on the bench. That's not how I pictured finishing my career.'”

Shaq says Michael Jordan is the GOAT because he never lost in the Finals 🐐 "Mike is the greatest of all time because of how he played, how he dominated, and he never lost in the finals. So, I know a lot of people going to see this like you said and 'oh, he doing this and he do that.' I played with Kobe, I know what a killer he was, but to me as a kid and going against him, then being the only guy to beat him in the playoffs for him to retire after three and then come back and get three, yeah, he was a different animal." I’ll never forget how pissed Spo was after game 6 and told the media the Heat will win the series in Boston: “It’s the way this season has been, this is one hell of a series. At this time right now I don’t know how we’re going to get this done but we’re going to go up there (Boston) and get it done…there’s been nothing easy about this season for our group so we just have to do it the hard way…we wish we can tip this thing off right now, RIGHT NOW! We want to tip this thing off and we play another 48 minutes…” What crazy time to be a fan.

Nicolas Batum says he’s never seen Kawhi Leonard play this well in their 6 years together. "I’ve been with him for six years. I joined the Clippers in 2020 and like I said, I’ve never seen him that good. I played against him when he was with the Spurs, I played against him in Toronto, and I’ve played with him for six years now, but he was already great. We all know the resume of Kawhi Leonard, but I think this year—I don't know why—he just is in total control. He’s in control of everything. It’s weird to say because he’s always been in control, but I don't really know what he changed. His routine has been the same, he’s just a maniac of working. He’s always in the gym, working before and after practice, before and after games. The way he plays right now is just unbelievable." (Via TheOldManAndTheThree )

Austin Reaves on his interaction with the ref: "I felt like I was respectful to all of them all night. A million times in the past, I've said way worse stuff. And when we were doing the whole tip ball and they were switching spots, I wanted to get on the other side because they had a guy on the other side, was just trying to keep an advantage. And he turned around and yelled in my face. I just thought it was disrespectful. The whole time that was going on over there, I don't think he said much to them. I know Ben (Taylor) stepped in and said something. But at the end of the day, we're grown men and I just didn't feel like he needed to yell in my face like that. I told him that. I wasn't disrespectful. I told him if I did that to him first, I would've gotten a tech. I feel like the only reason I didn't get a tech was because he knew he was in the wrong. I felt disrespected"

Quentin Tarantino recounts a dinner with Robert De Niro during the making of Jackie Brown, where he asked him whether he understood when he landed the role of Vito in The Godfather Part II, that it would change his life. De Niro’s answer revealed a great deal about his mindset at the time. “I was working with Robert De Niro on Jackie brown, and we went out to dinner once. - When he got Vito in the Godfather Part II, that was going to be a big thing for him. He won the Oscar for it - it set him up to be a movie star. So I asked him - and I've asked this to quite a few actors when it comes to when they got the role that would end up changing their career - did he realize that the moment when he got the role, that it would have this sort of effect? And he goes oh, “I tried not to let it do that. I tried not to think about that” I go, "really? and why did you try not to think about that?" “Well because I’ve seen it happen and then go the other way” And then he used an example. “There was this guy, he was a young actor, and he was part of our crowd in New York. He'd been doing okay, but we were all in the same boat. Then all of a sudden he got a lead role. He's one of the two leads in a brand new movie by a director who had just done a smash hit.” And he's talking about Larry Pierce (the director) and uh... Goodbye Columbus. ”And he started dining out on it. And all of a sudden I go to the places that we used to go to, and now he's there and everyone's kind of revolving around him. He's kind of holding court. He's not doing anything bad; he's just arisen in the way that none of us have - and we're all treating him different. Then the movie comes out; nobody likes it - The movie comes out, and it goes away, and he's exactly in the same place he was. And I just wanted to make sure that that would never happen to me because I watched it happen to him.” Quote from Video Archives Podcast, sourced from James Whale Bake Sale YouTube channel. Gary Payton says he taught Kobe his secrets because Kobe asked him to teach him, despite knowing he would use that information against him for the rest of his career “Kobe was already different. He was a different kid. I was about 10 or 11 years into the NBA at the time, and Kobe didn’t have a fear of asking anybody how to get better.” “He came by me and was like, ‘Big bro, you be doing this and that. I really want to learn this because of you.’ When he said that, that took something in my heart. A kid with his ability, knowing where he was going, really wanted to learn, and he didn’t have an ego.” “I didn’t mind. I didn’t care about him knowing how to do it and stop it because if he knows it, it makes me better too. Because I gave him the game, now I’ve got to learn how to stop him. I’ve got to show him something else.” “It didn’t really bother me, and me and him got so tight. Especially when I went to the Lakers and was mentoring him, we got really, really tight.”

Whoa. Jim Breuer says that his old friend Dave Chapelle went to him in private and told him about how an elite group of people came to him and sat him down to "correct him" and that was right before he suddenly vanished and went to Africa. He says he no longer communicated with him say in the same way after he came back and wonders what really happened... Who visited him? I'd be curious to hear the names. "He came there and he was freaked out. He was visited. And when he told me who visited him. My heart stopped for a second. I'll never forget. He went, you believe me right? They came to me..He said the names.. I said what happened? And then all of a sudden he went to Africa... But I know for a fact that he was corrected. Hey, we need to have a conversation. When I saw him come back... It was a lot less communication. And maybe he just grows, whatever. Maybe I'm crazy for saying this. When I saw him completely come back I really questioned if that was him. I know that's crazy..." Jim Breuer Roseanne Barr
