“The best person for the job.” We hear it all the time in football. But when coaching, senior leadership and board roles don't reflect the local communities many football clubs serve, it raises an important question: are we really giving everyone the same opportunity to succeed? For the first time, FA Rule N data gives us a snapshot of how diverse clubs across English football really are. ⚽️ Moments like this... are now accessible to more people because of spaces like this. 🙌 In 2016, Watford FC introduced their award-winning Sensory Room for neurodivergent fans who may struggle to cope in a noisy football stadium. 🤝 We are delighted to support Level Playing Field's Unite for Access campaign - a celebration of accessibility and inclusion for disabled football fans. 🔗 Read more about the campaign here: Watford Football Club Level Playing Field

Who comes to mind when you think of ‘standing firm in power and pride’? This year’s Black History Month theme will tell the story of many inspirational British figures, and we’re pleased that our founder, Lord Herman Ouseley, is being recognised and celebrated as one who helped change our country for the better. A year ago, he sadly passed away. We can’t think of many people in football who showed such courage, power and pride at a time of resistance when he set up Kick It Out 32 years ago. In our film to remember him, Sir Alex Ferguson described Herman as “fearless”. Others describe how he gave a voice to black players and made the game feel safer for many communities. We continue to draw strength from his power and pride at a time of political uncertainty and a rise in discrimination. If you want to know more about Lord Herman Ouseley and what impact he had on football, you can watch the whole film here: Our thoughts are with his friends and family as we remember a truly great person, whose legacy continues to live on. #BHM #BHM2025 #BlackHistoryMonth

‼️ East and Southeast Asian abuse directed at players also impacts fans in the wider community. It's important we all recognise and report this type of discrimination when it happens. 📲 If you see it or hear it, report it. #ESEAHM24 | The Frank Soo Foundation | John Shin
