As we condemn the unfortunate goon culture in our politics, we politicians must also look inwards. Many of these goons are sponsored and weaponized by politicians. We must stop enabling political violence and intimidation. While we acknowledge the rotten apples within our security forces, IPOA must investigate and ensure those who betray their duty face justice. We must demand accountability from both sides: politicians who sponsor violence and security officers who abuse their authority.

The emergence of Gen Z as a force in advocacy and governance has shown a remarkable shift towards unity and inclusivity, transcending ethnic and tribal barriers that have long divided us. This new generation exemplifies a forward-thinking approach, prioritizing common goals and shared values over narrow, divisive identities. It is disappointing to witness some national leaders clinging to outdated notions of tribalism and ethnic division. Our Gen Z clearly demonstrates a more progressive vision for our nation's future, setting an example that all leaders should aspire to follow.

It doesn’t exist. Just like the land one never existed or that on cancer drugs. Let’s engage based on facts and TRUTH.

Predatory lenders who have taken advantage of our boda boda riders through exploitative lending practices must be stamped out, firmly regulated, and, where they operate outside the law, deregistered. Our riders work hard to support their families and keep our economy moving. They should not be trapped in unfair lending arrangements that turn their livelihoods into endless debt. At the same time, we must empower our boda boda riders with the right information and financial literacy so they can identify predatory lenders and choose friendlier, transparent and properly regulated financial institutions.
