According to this Chinese CTA, China Shenzhen Shuibei #Gold and #Silver market’s physical #Silver buyback price premium between small distributors shot up almost $20 USD/Troy Ounce equivalent today.! This makes the China Shenzhen Shuibei physical #Silver buyback price north of $120 USD/Troy Ounce equivalent again! Also most small Chinese #Silver distributors are not selling their physical #Silver in fear of lack of supply!

1) China quietly issued US dollars Chinese sovereign bonds in Saudi Arabia, which were snapped up immediately by international buyers and over-subscribed by 19.9X. 2) China is taking a large part of the USD that it raise to finance Global South Countries at the edge of USD loan defaults. 3) In exchange China is getting a deal for cheap energy and commodities from these Global South countries payable in RMB. 4) You want USD Milkshake? Another 2 metric tonnes of physical #Silver is withdrawn by a Chinese PMs bullion distributor from the Shanghai Gold Exchange (SGE) vault. So physical #Silver is flowing in China. This Chinese distributor is selling these #Silver SGE slabs at 15 kg (482 Troy ounces) each. They will probably sell out fast.

Chinese lady here is helping her brother the Chinese #Silver bullion dealer to sell nine pieces of 15 KG 9999 pure SGE #Silver bars. This is worth around 1.7 million RMB Yuan or $238,000 USD at $55 USD/Troy Ounce. They are trying to sell the #Silver to Chinese ladies. They can cut the #Silver into smaller pieces if needed.

In China’s Shuibei retail gold and silver market, the physical silver recycling buy-back price (VAT exempt) is around $93 USD per troy ounce equivalent, plus a premium of about $10 to $20 USD per troy ounce. This results in an actual physical silver buy-back price in China’s Shuibei of around $103 to $113 USD per troy ounce (VAT exempt). #Gold #Silver 🔥

Now that the VAT exemption only applies to physical #Gold bought at the Shanghai Gold Exchange (SGE), and Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE), what will happen??? 1) ALL upstream physical #Gold buying will concentrate at the SGE and SHFE because that’s the only place upstream buyers can get VAT exemption. 2) This will push up the #Gold trading volumes at #SGE and #SHFE. 3) This might push up the #Gold price at #SGE and #SHFE because of the increased #Gold buying. 4) Funds and Institutions might be compelled to leave their #Gold at the SGE or SHFE vaults because of their VAT exemption nature. 5) This might be the next step for China to become an international #Gold price maker instead of a #Gold price taker. They are doing this by concentrating all upstream #Gold buying and storage at the SGE and SHFE.
