Some moments in life really shape your outlook forever. On 17 January, we sang this song to our brother Ola as we said our goodbyes at the hospital. We linked arms around him and sang together. Our gaffer led the song while we all cried through it. Afterwards, we sat outside in complete disbelief and shock. It reminded us all never to take anything for granted. Win, lose or draw, we will always sing, because we’re lucky enough to go home to our loved ones and families. What we went through as a club in January, and to then continue the form we’ve been on since, is a real credit to the lads. There’s a powerful togetherness in this group, made even stronger by that day and the weeks that followed. We’ll do everything we can to win this league in his memory. There’s been plenty of laughter and a lot of tears, but this group has been incredible. One more win for our brother Ola. ❤️
