This is why the US-Canada trade negotiations collapsed. The US wanted to have control over the trade deals Canada was making around the world. Furthermore, they wanted to use Canada (Canada's resources) as a leverage for their own deal and diplomatic activities around the world. All while still restricting and tariffing Canada's access to the US economy. If this was the case as Mark Carney claims, I fully support walking away from these negotiations. It's completely ludicrous and irrational. I put together the key moments he explains it.

Donald Trump on the friction with Canada's leadership: "This started with Trudeau. Trudeau and I used to have it out pretty good, and now we have this new guy who's a nice guy. Then they have the other guy, the slob..." The slob he is referring to is Ontario Premier Doug Ford.

Cut or tariff Canada's oil exports to the US? Horrible idea. Alberta Premier Danielle Smith does a fantastic jobs breaking it down: "I cannot think of a more disastrous policy decision than cutting off or taxing Alberta's oil to the United States." > US will respond with a 50%–100% tariff on fuels supplied to Ontario and Quebec. > US refineries would replace Alberta heavy crude with Venezuelan oil, cutting Canada off as a supplier permanently. > At least 500,000 jobs would be wiped out across Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec. > Retaliatory US cuts to gasoline and diesel exports would leave eastern Canada stranded without fuel right as fall and winter begin. > Canada has no reserves to supply Ontario and Quebec. > The Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) would nose-dive, devastating Canadian investments, and pensions. What most Canadians don't seem to realize is that the current oil prices is generating substantial taxes for governments that softens the blow of the tariffs, and big portion of it comes from the US.

Canada's politicians went on American TV and got ROASTED 😂 It is important to understand as you watch this: > Liberal politicians don't get asked hard questions by Canadian MSM. > Both of them were part of the government that gave us a lost decade. > Chrystia Freeland, who has zero background in finance, was the Finance Minister. "Tax and regulatory competitiveness, how bad is it in Canada?! Carney over at Davos talked about cozying up to China and the New World Order... GDP growth in Canada over the last 10 years, you are deadlast basically... The Canadian people deserve to have a better standard of living, it shouldn't be going down."

I have to fact check Donald Trump because he keeps spewing nonsense in regards to the US - Canada trade and none of the people around him seem to have the spine to correct him. > "we lose $60-$100B doing business with Canada". No you don't. The US buys discounted oil from Canada that greatly contributes to the country. Also this is goods based deficit. If you add services, which the US has a $25B+ in trade surplus in Canada than the actual trade deficit is much smaller, around $21B according to USTR in 2025. That's on $880B in the two trade. ~3%. > "we have more oil & gas". No you don't. Canada has more oil and almost double the gas - which is just starting to be developed at scale. We also have different type of oil which aren't substitutes and bring massive value to the US. > "we don't need their lumber". Yes you do. Not only Canada has much more lumber, the dominant supplier to the US but it is also a different type. Because of the climate, species and fiber. It is used for different purposes. Canadian lumber is used for framing, roof trusses, 2×4, 2×6. > "They do most of their business with us, I heard 95%". False, he should also know it. Canada send 70% of it merchandise exports to the US. > "We do very small percentage (business) compares to others." False. Canada is America largest export market and biggest trading partner of 25 states. Also in regards to the auto industry: the US has trade surplus with Canada. The US doesn't need anything from Canada? Besides the above, yes you do. Canada has all the critical minerals the US needs and wants and makes NA self sufficient. This also why they want to secure its trade as part of the negotiations. The US - Canada trade is highly beneficial and intertwined; manufacturing systems are integrated, energy is physically joined, infrastructure like rail run across continuously, Canadian pension funds are some of the largest institutio investors in America. We move faster together. Let's build.

The US sees right through Mark Carney 🔥 US secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent: "We're not at war with Canada. Are they going to take their two submarines from the Edmonton Mall and sick 'em on us? 😂 It's unfortunate that he's not doing what's best for the Canadian people, he's doing what is best for the Liberal Party, what's best for Mark Carney. Boom!

Every time you see Ontario Premier Doug Ford losing his mind and having a hissy fit over Donald Trump, just remember that he had probably the most confident in the Trump candidacy and Presidenc. "Donald Trump doesn't owe anyone favours except making sure that they Make America Great Again."

Ontario Premier Doug Ford spent his conference throwing insults at Donald Trump...wtf ‼️ Here is the recap: "This guy's a loser, he's gonna be a loser, and as simple as that." "I have more courage, more brains in my baby toe than he has in his whole body." "He can kiss my ass, and I have a lot of real estate on my ass, so he has a lot of room to kiss my ass." "I've dealt with guys like you my whole life, and guess what? You'll all become losers, because you're a loser." Unbelievable 😮💨

This is Canada's newest millionaire. A police officer forgets to put his car in park so the car rolls and runs over the suspect's legs. Then he jumps in the car and presses gas running over the suspect again and a police officer 🤦🏼 Absolute clownshow. Not as embarrassing as when Toronto Police delivered coffee to Hamas fart catchers blocking roads and intimidating communities.

Just look at this filth. Residents near by warned for years that Cowichan Tribes have been turning the environment into a disaster and that all this toxic pollution has making it to the Cowichan River. "Stewards of the land", the most delusional title ever.

The handling here of the terrorists at Bondi Beach by Australia's police is embarrassing and full of incompetence. Nevermind that they let terrorists shoot people for all this time but towards the end civilians had to call police in and officers couldn't even bring him down or secure the situation. What if he had explosives on him?

It is absofuckinglutely over for Canada's auto industry. This is a Chinese EV manufacturer Chery which wants to open shop in Canada, and this is one of its cars. Absolute luxury, smart interior, huge screens, 180km on pure electric and can do over 600 - 800 miles with extended range. This is just one of their models. No one even makes anything close to this in North America. Mark Carney reduced the tariffs on them to 6.1% and half need to be under $35k. They will open state of the art manufacturing facility operated by robots - not Unions, and import most of everything they need from China.

🚨Donald Trump said there will be an earth-shattering announcement between US and Canada but it's not trade: "We have a very big announcement to make, it's not about trade, it's about something else but it will be a truly earth-shattering and positive development for this country." What do you think it is?
