Guys! Cold air landspout sighting! CR 8 in Berthoud Landspouts ARE tornadoes, but they are weaker ones. It’s complicated but there’s lots of cold air aloft behind the cold front, some good surface heating, these pop up showers adding outflow boundaries and a little bit of updraft stretching, and bam! We have a landspout. The first cold air landspout I’ve seen in Colorado and I’ve been here almost 20 years! 🎥 Stephanie Lea
