The rollback netcode in this game is AMAZING. A very smooth experience with players in the UK, and the gameplay is super fun, a different flavour of a more classic Tekken experience. If you have some time to spare, play the Rush Prototype, and give Alcratz some feedback!

People are using this as another example of why Tekken 8 sucks, etc. But this bug is not a Tekken 8 bug. Tekken has fundamentally used the same underlying battle system code for more than 20 years. The stuff that makes Tekken feel like Tekken. This is a scripting bug that occurred from Tekken 4 to Tekken 5, the likelihood being a minor error when they ported Bryan's moveset between those games. Because it wasn't caught by testers, or players and publicly flagged back in T5, it's quietly persisted through T5DR, T6, Tag 2, Rev, T7, and now T8. There have been a handful of scripting quirks throughout each entry, only for them to finally be fixed in T8 due to them being displayed publicly online. I think it's a bit unfair to further slam the team when 99.9% of people didn't even know this was an issue for 20 years.

YaronK P2 Advantage's sidestep was actually addressed Dustiel showcased a handful of these bugged interactions in Season 1. They didn't specifically mention this in the patch notes, but they did fix this in Season 2. Again, I get the frustrations, but they do look at these things.
