What once seemed impossible will eventually become your testimony. Let the Word of God build your faith until His promises become your reality. Do not be distracted by those who misunderstand your journey or question what God has spoken concerning you. It is a waste to explain yourself while you are still on the journey. WHEN FACTS SPEAK, LET GOD'S WORD HAVE THE FINAL SAY The moment the realities of life begin to challenge your confidence in God's Word, return to the Scriptures. Return to the Word. A medical report may present facts based on human knowledge and observation, but every Believer has the responsibility to fight the fight of faith, and that fight begins by listening to God's Word consistently. As you continually expose yourself to God's Word, doubt loses its grip, and faith is strengthened. Even when your present circumstances seem contrary to what God has spoken, keep listening. Let the Word of God build your faith. Let it shape your convictions. Let it become the dominant voice in your life. The day will come when what God has been working within you will become evident to all. What was once overlooked will be announced by the hand of God. FAITH IS BUILT BY WHAT YOU CONTINUALLY HEAR When we emphasise listening to God's Word, it is not a call to be inconsiderate or to impose our convictions on others. Your responsibility is not to force people to hear the Word; you are not the Holy Spirit. Your responsibility is to invest in listening. In this generation, technology has removed many of the excuses we once had. Whether you are commuting to work, driving through traffic, or going about your daily routine, every moment can become an opportunity to build your spirit with God's Word. Rather than allowing frustration, distractions, or negative conversations to dominate your mind, fill your heart with the Scriptures. Listen to teachings, Bible readings, and messages that strengthen your faith and align your heart with God's promises. This is how the great men and women of faith were built, not merely by occasional encounters, but by consistently exposing themselves to God's Word. Never become so sophisticated that you outgrow the discipline of listening to the Word. Regardless of your level of spiritual growth, faith is sustained the same way it begins. AN ATTACK ON YOUR PRAYER LIFE IS A REAL ATTACK An attack on your prayer life is a real attack. Never treat it lightly. Guard your prayer life with diligence, because anything that seeks to weaken it is ultimately seeking to weaken you. As believers, we must not mistake prayer for an activity reserved for the inexperienced or the unemployed. No matter how wise, accomplished, or influential we become, prayer remains indispensable. Wisdom without prayer leaves a believer vulnerable to battles that human understanding alone cannot overcome. As God enlarges your influence, your priesthood must grow with it. Greater opportunities often come with greater opposition, making a vibrant prayer altar essential for sustaining Kingdom victory. A functional prayer life authorises divine possibilities and positions the believer to overcome every resistance. Guard your altar, remain steadfast in prayer, and continue to draw strength from fellowship with God. In the same way, our hands, minds, and abilities may appear ordinary, but when yielded to the Holy Spirit, they become instruments for extraordinary Kingdom exploits. He is the Spirit of wisdom, intelligence, and grace, empowering believers to accomplish what human strength and logic alone can never achieve. The variables for success in life are too many to navigate by intellect alone. The Holy Spirit is not merely an advantage, He is the Advantage. He empowers every dimension of the believer’s life, granting insight, direction, power, and supernatural solutions. Do not reduce the ministry of The Holy Spirit to praying in tongues alone. THE HOLY SPIRIT: THE BELIEVER'S GREATEST ADVANTAGE The Holy Spirit is more than the evidence of speaking in tongues; He is the believer's advantage. Throughout Jesus' earthly ministry, countless miracles were witnessed: the blind received sight, the dead were raised, multitudes were fed, and even His resurrection was seen. Yet many still doubted. Miracles alone could not produce lasting conviction. Faith is established by the witness of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit bears witness in the heart of the believer beyond logic, science, or human reasoning. He reveals truth, convicts hearts, strengthens believers to obey God, empowers sacrificial living, and confirms our identity as children of God. Without the ministry of the Holy Spirit, faith becomes vulnerable to every argument and opinion. But when He bears witness within you, your conviction is anchored in the Spirit of Truth. ANYTHING THAT HIJACKS YOUR WILL IS AN ATTACK ON YOUR DESTINY: GUARD YOUR POWER TO CHOOSE Many believers genuinely desire to move forward, but they underestimate one of the greatest gifts God has given humanity, "the will". Your ability to choose is a miracle. When the leper said, "If You are willing, You can make me clean," Jesus replied, "I will; be cleansed." The power of the will is undeniable. You can lose many things in life and still recover. But one of the greatest tragedies is losing the ability to exercise your will. Anything that hijacks your will, through manipulation, deception, fear, or bondage, is an attack on your destiny. A person may lose their sight, their limbs, or physical strength, yet still build a remarkable life because they retain the ability to think clearly and make intentional choices. The decision to be prayerful shapes a different kind of believer than the decision to remain spiritually lukewarm. The decision to be responsible produces different outcomes from the decision to be careless. Honour leads somewhere. Arrogance leads somewhere. Love leads somewhere. Hatred leads somewhere. No choice leaves you the same. God has given you the power to choose, but He has not given you the power to choose the consequences of your choices. The consequences are automatic. The moment you make a decision, the outcomes attached to that decision begin to unfold. That is why wisdom is so vital. Choose the path that aligns with God's Word, because every decision carries a destination, and every destination is the product of the choices made along the way. KOINONIA HIGHLIGHTS | FREE MEDICAL AND WELFARE OUTREACH TO CELEBRATE APOSTLE JOSHUA SELMAN’S BIRTHDAY True celebration is found in the expansion of God's Kingdom and the tangible expression of His love to those He holds most dear. As we celebrated the birthday of Apostle Joshua Selman this past Thursday, the focus remained fixed on the heart of The Father—providing for the widows and ministering to the vulnerable. It was a humbling sight to see thousands of precious women, whose provider and supplier is God alone, receive sustenance of bags of rice and even more thousands receive compassionate medical care from a dedicated team of Licensed Doctors, Nurses, and Nutritionists. We are reminded of the promise in 2 Corinthians 9:8: "And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work." We praise God for the opportunity and the grace to be channels of His provision and healing. PRAYER DOES NOT REPLACE RESPONSIBILITY Many believers invest time, energy, and consistency in prayer, yet see little change in their lives, not because God lacks power, but because effective living requires responsibility. Prayer is where we surrender our lives to God. But surrender is more than words. When we say, "Lord, I give it all to You," or "I lay down my will," we are declaring our willingness to align with His purpose. That alignment is demonstrated through the choices and decisions we make every day. True surrender is choosing what God wants over what we want. Prayer invites God's power into our lives, but our obedience positions us to experience its fullness. Prayer and responsibility work together. As you align your choices with God's will, you create room for His promises to find expression in your life. THE POWER SATAN CANNOT TAKE FROM YOU — "I CHOOSE!" You can declare, "From today, favour will follow me," but transformation is more than words. First comes a choice, then comes a decision. A choice is recognising God's best for your life. A decision is accepting the responsibility to live according to the principles that produce that reality. No prophecy, prayer, or impartation can replace your decision. God has set before every person life and death, blessing and cursing, progress and limitation, and then He says: Choose. Don't envy another person's results. By God's mercy, they chose the path that led to them. The power to choose is one gift Satan cannot take from you. Failure cannot destroy it. Your past cannot cancel it. As long as you have life, you still have the power to choose. Don't just admire greatness, decide it. When you make that choice, the Holy Spirit empowers your obedience, and heaven releases grace, favour, wisdom, and strength to help you become what God has called you to be. You may not be able to change the choices of those before you, but now that it is your turn... Choose grace. Choose glory. Choose victory. Choose dominion. Choose the fear of the Lord. Choose life! THE BRUTAL TRUTH MANY BELIEVERS ARE AFRAID TO ADMIT Many people's failures in life are traceable to their worldview (how they were taught to see life). Ask the average young graduate what they want to do with their life, and you’ll hear fire-filled tongues—but no clarity, no direction. We handed a generation powerful spiritual lingo but not practical wisdom. We taught faith but ignored finance. We preached destiny but never prepared them for real-life responsibility. Now, many are bitter. Offended. Confused. Some have left the faith—not because God failed, but because our theology did. We must return to the drawing board and re-examine our worldview. The Christian faith is not guesswork. Real power must translate to real results—spiritually and practically. Let’s stop preaching what only sounds good and start teaching the truth of God's Word. YOU CANNOT BE A SOURCE AND REFUSE TO BE A SUSTAINER Much of the decadence we see in society today can, in many ways, be traced to the quality and presence of fatherhood. One of the foundational principles of fatherhood is this: source (Abba-father) and sustainer must go together. You cannot choose to be a source and refuse the responsibility of being a sustainer. The moment a man agrees to become a source (father), he also accepts the responsibility to nurture, guide, provide for, and remain invested in the lives entrusted to him. Fatherhood goes beyond biological contribution; it is expressed through commitment, presence, sacrifice, and stewardship. No institution can replace the role of a father. Schools can educate, and churches can support spiritual growth, but they were never designed to substitute for parental responsibility. They complement the home; they do not take its place. Children are meant to be a blessing to their parents, not bear the responsibilities that belong to their parents. God’s design is that fathers would not only bring life but also provide the nurture, stability, and guidance necessary for that life to flourish.
