FAITH IS BUILT BY WHAT YOU CONTINUALLY HEAR When we emphasise listening to God's Word, it is not a call to be inconsiderate or to impose our convictions on others. Your responsibility is not to force people to hear the Word; you are not the Holy Spirit. Your responsibility is to invest in listening. In this generation, technology has removed many of the excuses we once had. Whether you are commuting to work, driving through traffic, or going about your daily routine, every moment can become an opportunity to build your spirit with God's Word. Rather than allowing frustration, distractions, or negative conversations to dominate your mind, fill your heart with the Scriptures. Listen to teachings, Bible readings, and messages that strengthen your faith and align your heart with God's promises. This is how the great men and women of faith were built, not merely by occasional encounters, but by consistently exposing themselves to God's Word. Never become so sophisticated that you outgrow the discipline of listening to the Word. Regardless of your level of spiritual growth, faith is sustained the same way it begins. AN ATTACK ON YOUR PRAYER LIFE IS A REAL ATTACK An attack on your prayer life is a real attack. Never treat it lightly. Guard your prayer life with diligence, because anything that seeks to weaken it is ultimately seeking to weaken you. As believers, we must not mistake prayer for an activity reserved for the inexperienced or the unemployed. No matter how wise, accomplished, or influential we become, prayer remains indispensable. Wisdom without prayer leaves a believer vulnerable to battles that human understanding alone cannot overcome. As God enlarges your influence, your priesthood must grow with it. Greater opportunities often come with greater opposition, making a vibrant prayer altar essential for sustaining Kingdom victory. A functional prayer life authorises divine possibilities and positions the believer to overcome every resistance. THE HOLY SPIRIT: THE BELIEVER'S GREATEST ADVANTAGE The Holy Spirit is more than the evidence of speaking in tongues; He is the believer's advantage. Throughout Jesus' earthly ministry, countless miracles were witnessed: the blind received sight, the dead were raised, multitudes were fed, and even His resurrection was seen. Yet many still doubted. Miracles alone could not produce lasting conviction. Faith is established by the witness of the Holy Spirit. ANYTHING THAT HIJACKS YOUR WILL IS AN ATTACK ON YOUR DESTINY: GUARD YOUR POWER TO CHOOSE Many believers genuinely desire to move forward, but they underestimate one of the greatest gifts God has given humanity, "the will". Your ability to choose is a miracle. When the leper said, "If You are willing, You can make me clean," Jesus replied, "I will; be cleansed." The power of the will is undeniable. KOINONIA HIGHLIGHTS | FREE MEDICAL AND WELFARE OUTREACH TO CELEBRATE APOSTLE JOSHUA SELMAN’S BIRTHDAY True celebration is found in the expansion of God's Kingdom and the tangible expression of His love to those He holds most dear. As we celebrated the birthday of Apostle Joshua Selman this past Thursday, the focus remained fixed on the heart of The Father—providing for the widows and ministering to the vulnerable. It was a humbling sight to see thousands of precious women, whose provider and supplier is God alone, receive sustenance of bags of rice and even more thousands receive compassionate medical care from a dedicated team of Licensed Doctors, Nurses, and Nutritionists. We are reminded of the promise in 2 Corinthians 9:8: "And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work." We praise God for the opportunity and the grace to be channels of His provision and healing. PRAYER DOES NOT REPLACE RESPONSIBILITY Many believers invest time, energy, and consistency in prayer, yet see little change in their lives, not because God lacks power, but because effective living requires responsibility. Prayer is where we surrender our lives to God. But surrender is more than words. When we say, "Lord, I give it all to You," or "I lay down my will," we are declaring our willingness to align with His purpose. That alignment is demonstrated through the choices and decisions we make every day. True surrender is choosing what God wants over what we want. THE POWER SATAN CANNOT TAKE FROM YOU — "I CHOOSE!" You can declare, "From today, favour will follow me," but transformation is more than words. First comes a choice, then comes a decision. A choice is recognising God's best for your life. A decision is accepting the responsibility to live according to the principles that produce that reality. No prophecy, prayer, or impartation can replace your decision. God has set before every person life and death, blessing and cursing, progress and limitation, and then He says: Choose. Don't envy another person's results. By God's mercy, they chose the path that led to them. The power to choose is one gift Satan cannot take from you. Failure cannot destroy it. Your past cannot cancel it. As long as you have life, you still have the power to choose. Don't just admire greatness, decide it. When you make that choice, the Holy Spirit empowers your obedience, and heaven releases grace, favour, wisdom, and strength to help you become what God has called you to be. You may not be able to change the choices of those before you, but now that it is your turn... Choose grace. Choose glory. Choose victory. Choose dominion. Choose the fear of the Lord. Choose life! Now, many are bitter. Offended. Confused. Some have left the faith—not because God failed, but because our theology did. We must return to the drawing board and re-examine our worldview.
