if you know me, you know i only work on & talk about products i actually use as a trader first. given i wanted to get really deep on Backpack Futures, i deposited ~$5k into a fresh subacct when i started my new role at Backpack 🎒 & built a scaling schedule straight out of my prop days simple start → drawdown → clip size sheet. 13 levels, $5k to $100k, with trade count + drawdown rules at each level. the same framework we used to grow accounts in prop took ~4 months, but last week i completed the challenge: → 123 trades logged → ~$30M in volume → $BTC, $ETH, $SOL, $PAXG, $HYPE perps, all on Backpack nothing teaches you an exchange’s dynamics like actually trading on it. all the small nits, the microstructure quirks — you only find them by living in the product so what’s next? topping up with a fresh $100k and going deep on stock trading with Backpack Securities. public beta is live, v2 right around the corner, and i’ve been wanting to make this pivot for a while given everything happening on the equities side — AI, robotics, quantum, space time to run it back from $200k this time 😉🎒
