Blackbeard has received SIX Nerfs in Y10S3! 🎲 1) He can no longer aim down sights while rappelling into windows 2) he can no longer rappel through undamaged barricades while rappelling 3) Blackbeard will now fully fold his shield while reloading, leaving him more exposed 4) The time to cancel aiming down weapon sights is increased to 0.9 seconds from 0.5 seconds, more chance to hit his head 5) the breach ability charges of his shield are reduced from 4 to 3. 6) the SCAR-H CQC now has less ammo per mag, now 20+1, previously 25+1

Mute no longer counters Grim, but this makes no sense from either a gameplay perspective or narrative based one. One of the arguments for this change has been that a ping is something that only exists for us as players, and the operators of course wouldn't see a magical ping appear. Therefore there's not anything for it to actually block That's a fair argument, but if you go back to Operation Brutal Swarms lore, we can see that Grim actually gets his info via his phone, which relays the tracking data from the bees. A phone that would realistically have its communication jammed by Mute, both if he is standing in a jammer, or if the bees are. (and it can believed every attacker would get this to their phone too) So its fair to argue that pings themselves exist outside of the game and its interactions, but that only leaves a narrative side, which also doesn't work in favour of the change Grim should 100% be countered by Mute.
