Kurdish Protest in London Disrupted by Monarchist Pro‑Pahlavi Mobs A Kurdish demonstration in London supporting Rojava and Rojhelat that is opposing Islamist terrorism was reportedly attacked by pro‑Pahlavi (royalist) mobs. Protesters had nothing to do with the Pahlavi movement, yet royalist activists aggressively attacked Kurds. This reflects fascist behavior, royalists are willing to side with Islamist forces against Kurdish causes. President Masoud Barzani , son of Kurdish leader Mullah Mustafa Barzani, helped Edwin Shuker Jewish family and many others escape Iraq in the early 1970s by guiding them through the mountains to safety. Barzani refused any payment, insisting the Kurds did it out of love for the #Jewish people and for humanity. Years later, Shuker reunited with Barzani now President of Kurdistan and emotionally thanked him on behalf of the 1,900 Jews the Kurds had saved. Barzani’s compassion and courage symbolized humanity beyond religion or nationality.
