I love that even while he was crying, panicking, throwing up, and completely falling apart, Lestat still found the strength to tell Louis what had been weighing on him. He reminded Louis how unfairly he'd judged him over a video that exposed one of the most traumatic experiences of Lestat's life - his sexual abuse by his mother within an incestuous relationship - while Lestat had never met Louis's own psychological breakdown with that same judgment. Instead, he stayed, supported him, and helped Louis through it, even as he was struggling with his own fractured emotional state. Yes, king. Say your piece. I'm proud of you. And thank God Louis finally understood and tried to offer Lestat that same compassion and empathy in return. This was also, hands down, one of Sam Reid's and Jacob Anderson's finest performances. Their chemistry is extraordinary, and scenes like this are exactly why they work so well together.
