Lara has said on several occasions that she deleted TikTok (and Twitter). It really isn’t hard to understand why, given that these spaces have clearly not been mentally safe for her. If she has deliberately removed herself from these platforms, she will likely be less aware or informed about issues occurring in another country. Those “demanding” that she speak up about certain issues and complaining when she does speak up later should take that into consideration, particularly when they are consistently absent when it comes to protecting her from and addressing the racism and harassment she faces herself.
