Since that post took off, there’s a very good reason to learn proper grip so you don’t immediately cause a malfunction when you fire a shot. Sometimes you miss and sometimes people require more than one hit to go down. Imagine if this guys gun jammed on the first shot.

Dude waited for his opening and went to work. When you’re doing dry fire or at the range don’t forget to practice target transitions and don’t forget to throw in non standard round counts. Sometimes targets need more than two holes in them.

Build Thread: 🧵 Using a BCM upper that requires thermal fit to go on the barrel extension. They machine these slightly undersized to get a tighter fit with the barrel which is supposed to help with precision.

IMO, unless you’re dealing with a legitimately life threatening situation you can’t handle, you should never call the police to deal with your kid or any other family issues you’re having unless you’re willing to risk getting your family member killed.

Tried to give a good run down of the fundamentals for rifle shooting. I think there's enough here to get you started. I definitely recommend taking professional training though.

Long range shooting thread: Gathering data to build a range card and ballistic app profile for long range shooting. If you can’t get to a range with berms in 100 yard increments to 1,000 yards, use targets in at least a couple steps to as far as you can reasonably shoot.

I tried to give a good rundown of choosing and using a laser range finder for getting range to target for long range precision rifle shooting. Hopefully this will be helpful for people that haven't used them much or are interested in long range shooting.

Started working on the long range videos today. I’m gearing this info for people starting at or near zero knowledge about long range shooting but are interested in it. Quick intro.

I got set up and re-created the shot on the 18 inch plate at 1738 yards today. I used the scope camera today so I could share it. The misses are all so close to the edge of the plate that I’m pretty sure I can put them all on a 24 in. square.

Starting out with the rifle. Tried to highlight some important features and give some helpful information if you're looking to get a rifle to get started in learning about precision long range rifle shooting.

Getting to the range to gather data. A couple other things: For initial drop data use an app like Gravity Ballistics or use the box info for velocity (if no chronograph) and an included bullet profile from a ballistic app. Also, don't chase your misses, adjust for the average.
