Grateful to collaborate with Wattanachai Ratanapornsompong |วัฒนชัย รัตนพรสมปอง, Amr Elbakry, Jeffery Lin, MD 🏳️‍🌈 and team on this work. Single-port robotic non-transecting Y-V flap pyeloplasty + stricturoplasty for primary UPJO. Why it matters: Classic dismembered pyeloplasty transects the ureter and can compromise longitudinal blood supply — problematic if revision is ever needed. This approach preserves vascularity, widens a narrow plate with stricturoplasty when required, and relocates the neo-UPJ away from crossing vessels without routine transposition. SP platform makes it efficient. Early outcomes in 21 patients (median f/u 73 weeks): 95% success, 86% same-day discharge, no major complications.
