Donald Trump: “They have their banks here, Bank of Canada, big beautiful banks.” Buddy. The Bank of Canada is Canada’s Federal Reserve. It is not a retail bank. It does not have a branch in America. You cannot open a chequing account there, refinance a house there, or wander in and demand the manager. That is the institution that sets interest rates, not the one that hands out debit cards and toasters. Bank of America is a bank. Bank of Canada is a central bank. One sells you a credit card. The other sets the price of money. Different job. Different building. Different continent of competence. The “big beautiful banks” you’re thinking of are RBC, TD, BMO actual commercial banks that do operate in the United States. The Bank of Canada is the maple-flavoured Fed. It does not have a drive-thru in Florida. If this is how you’re handling a basic two-word institution name, maybe don’t put yourself in charge of a trade negotiation. You can’t hammer Canada for “not allowing American banks” while simultaneously inventing a Bank of Canada branch that does not exist. That’s not tough bargaining. That’s mixing up the central bank with Bank of America because both names contain the word “Bank.” Please stop naming institutions after hearing two words and assuming they have a kiosk. Next week you’ll be demanding we close the Royal Bank of England stand at JFK.

🚨WTAF ‼️Is it just me, or does this Edmonton Police behavior come across as narcissistic and completely unhinged? It appears that he genuinely believes he has full ownership and the authority to do as he pleases with this woman's private property, her dog. She clearly has a service dog, and yet he's causing unnecessary stress for her. We need to make sure this video goes viral so that he faces the consequences and gets fired. ‼️It's truly mind-boggling and unacceptable. Can someone please confirm if there is any ongoing civil litigation against this officer? This type of behavior should not be tolerated. Let's make sure this officer becomes a trending topic

The intent of her bail conditions seems to be that she isn’t allowed something that could potentially cause ear damage. Isn’t that the basis of her charges? I don’t think a dog toy qualifies. Did the Wellington Regulars start screaming that she is breaching some condition so the cops intervened ? What is going on? Like her or not, this is about a dog toy, for goodness' sake.🐶
