In 1992 I gave Peyton Manning 5* as the no.2 QB in the nation and in 1999 Eli Manning 4* however just the 17th rated QB. I have never lived it down. I have been rating players since 1979 and believe me it is an inexact science. Here Eli has a little fun with my ratings on ESPN +
