Of course, the Chicago area is known for some of the greatest linebackers of all time. Ray Nitschke and Dick Butkus to name a couple here are four You need to keep an eye on over the next couple of years.

Over the past couple of years, the Chicago area has produced some of the most talented defensive lineman in the country. Here are the stars for 2027 and 2028. Just since the class of 2025, there have been 39 3*+,4 and 5* defensive lineman signed out of the Chicago area.

Cincinnati Moeller HS is one of the most famous football schools in the country. They have been dominant since the early 70s and continue to do so today. Led by HC Bert Bathiany they have remained one of the dominant teams in Ohio. Very impressive.@bj43653801 @coach_b10

One of the great programs nationally is Orange Lutheran high school in Orange California. This team is absolutely stacked. A member of the nation’s top league. The Trinity league.

I gathered the top offensive lineman in the Chicago area together for some interviews and photos yesterday. It’s a terrific group almost all of them national recruits. There were 60 Chicago area players on NFL preseason rosters last August. It’s a loaded area for. 4 and 5*.

The great Mike Leach explaining to me what he looks for in a quarterback. He was the GOAT when it came to developing and coaching quarterbacks.

The Chicago area is absolutely loaded with power4 defensive lineman for 2026/2027/2028.

Big thanks to Wheaton Saint Francis Head Coach Bob Mcmillen for taking the time to talk about his big-time underclassman. Saint Francis is another one of the outstanding programs in the Chicago area's Catholic league. Last year they won the class 5A State Title.

Here’s an outstanding group of wide receivers and tight ends from the Chicago area. I had 75 players come by yesterday and everything went off like clockwork. 80° weather the Chicago skyline in the background and the players could not have been more respectful.

Here are many of the top San Diego area underclassmen. Very impressive group.

The Little Rock Arkansas area has some great underclassman with several of them future national recruits. Very impressive amount of talent in “The Natural State”and particularly in the Little Rock area.

I have not been surprised that the majority of the big-time programs nationally have been covering the Chicago area like a blanket in the past week. However with several 4 and 5* prospects it’ll take more than a week to properly evaluate them.
