2028 1B/UT Audri Hedleston is looking for a summer team! Audri has a really unique story, which is probably why most people haven’t heard of her yet. She’s local, but I had never seen or heard of her before she walked into our facility wanting to try out Ballplex homeschool program. Right away, after talking to her for a few minutes, I could tell she was a very mature kid with a great attitude. Then she started swinging and I remember thinking… who are you and why have I never seen you before? lol The reality is Audri didn’t truly fall in love with the game until recently. She has only played travel ball once and was mainly just playing high school softball. But this past season, her passion for the game came back strong and now she’s very determined to pursue softball seriously. Audri has been part of our homeschool program the last few weeks and she has quickly become one of the hardest workers in the room. She’s super coachable, adapts very fast and has been making great adjustments already. She’ll continue working with us this summer and is hoping to find a team where she can showcase all the work she’s putting in.

2026 OSU Cowgirl Softball signee Kinleigh Russell made the trip from Kentucky to get three days of work in. We logged about seven hours total, hitting and catching, and Kinleigh can flat out work. She never showed signs of fatigue during the long sessions and did a great job making adjustments throughout. We focused on getting her into a taller posture at launch. With her natural uppercut swing, she would occasionally dive toward the plate and lose space on pitches middle to top of the zone. She sent me a video about a week after heading back home, and it already looks much better, which tells me she’s been putting in the work. 2030 Bella Smith 2030 showing up big at regionals as an 8th grader!! Facing an Ole Miss commit and a Syracuse commit, she went 3 for 5 with a double and 4 walks (2 intentional). Tonight’s pitcher was in the high 60s, and earlier this morning at homeschool practice we got ready for it hitting low 70s curveballs off the machine. My girl was making contact out front!! 😰 What a baller!! Had an awesome Friday and Saturday working with Tennessee Softball sophomore 2B, ELLA DODGE . What a stud, and an even better person. She’s already connected with my girls in a big way, and they’re lucky to have someone like her waiting for them when they get to Tennessee in a couple of years. Last season as a freshman, she hit two home runs off Jody Bahl in Super Regionals. Absolute clutch. Excited to watch her dominate this year! 💪🍊

🚨 New Client Alert 🚨 2027 Taylor Priske 2027 came in for her first session and already broke our facility exit velo record! (77.5 mph) Her swing still has plenty of room to grow, but what stood out was her timing, controlled load and ability to consistently find barrel. With consistent work, the upside here is HUGE. 2028 OF Evie Martin 2028 played a scrimmage today, hit a double and a triple, then came straight to the facility to get some work in before the Ray Seymour Invitational this weekend in Newberry. Are you really “dropping your shoulder”… or are you just leaning back? Big difference. When you lean back, you lose posture and tilt your spine away from the plate. That makes the barrel work up too early instead of staying through the zone. We want length through contact, a connected, slightly upward path that stays in the zone a long time. That’s what gives you margin for error and consistent hard barrels, even when timing isn’t perfect. The back shoulder should always work down and finish through. Even on elevated pitches, it will typically finish just under the front shoulder, hands just need to stay up. That’s good rotation with posture. That’s not collapsing or drifting backward. 2027 Tennessee Softball commit Gracyn Needle 2027 made big strides this fall with her swing decisions and strike-zone awareness. One of my favorite ways to train it: Burpees for swinging at a bad pitch. We use HitTrax for feedback. If she chases outside the zone but hits it well, no burpees. Simple. Tough when tournament umpires call some wild zones, but those disciplined takes will pay off huge at the next level. 2029 Rylee Swilley got some good work in on her off weekend. She looked really good with a lot more consistency in her swing and a tighter turn. She’s also getting stronger, and it showed with her new exit velocity PR of 72.5 mph. She hit it three times🤣 Keep up the good work Rylee!! 2027 Taylor Priske 2027 made some noise at the Ole Miss camp 👀 HR in the scrimmage ✅ 19 HRs during BP ✅ She is the power hitter you might not know yet, but you will soon… We’ve only had 2 sessions, but her ability to adjust and apply what we work on is impressive. We shortened her swing for more consistency, and when you’re hitting balls 78 mph, you can mishit balls 220+ all day! Very excited to watch her develop!! 2028 Eva Martinez 2028 broke her school weight-class snatch record with a 125 lb lift and was back to work the very next day. So proud of her hard work and dedication. She’s made a huge jump as an overall player over the last year and will continue to get better.
