“2012 Splinter doesn’t care about his kids” He legit uses the memory of them to escape the Rat King’s control and regain his humanity.

This scene is SO GOOD for two reasons… 1. It’s the first time we see lightning get redirected 2. It shows Zuko does put the lives of others above his obsession to capture the Avatar, despite it seeming like otherwise

It’s mental health awareness month and I just wanted to share the time Regular Show covered this topic. If it taught us anything, it’s that mental health does matter.

This scene always makes me emotional. The way Aang talks about his friend Kuzon and reveals how he was fire nation is just so powerful. The animators drew Aang very passionately with each delivered line too. While Zuko just sits there and listens to it all.

It’s crazy that a 36 year old movie still looks better than almost anything that releases today

Avatar Roku taking over Aangs body when the doors opened is one of the coolest and most creative things ever. I wish they incorporated that more into the franchise. Also interesting how Roku chose to free Zuko from the chains as well.

This is legit one of the best fight scenes in the entire franchise. Everybody has a part to play. The Gaang have never been so locked in

HOLY- I legit forgot that atla covered gender identity and acceptance. This show was ahead of its time in so many ways.

The way they put so much effort and detail into animating this guy has me lowkey dying rn 😭

Mikey’s supposed to be the comedic relief character but I lowkey find Donnie more funny across most iterations

The quick switch up Jet has on Zuko and Iroh from being all “join our team” to “they’re firebenders so they’re evil” really shows just how embedded his prejudices still remains. I legit love every scene with him in it.

The animators do such an incredible job at conveying the sheer magnitude of Ba Sing Se. They don’t just tell you it’s big, they actually show it too!!
