MARATHON ALPHA THOUGHTS Put in 5 hours and I want to play MUCH more to really get a feel for it but had a great time so far. Hit level 11, unlocked all the factions, upgraded my vault, loved the gun play, heart was POUNDING when fighting other squads, got taken out multiple times and lost my loot but didn't have to spend a crazy amount of time getting kitted again which was SO nice, looting was getting quicker with muscle memory, really enjoyed the lore insights with faction upgrades, inside areas have an incredible vibe, outside lighting feels flat but it's an alpha so that's expected, audio in the game so far has been fantastic, mained Glitch who feels great with mobility to navigate around the map and save time, wish you could move mods around, incursions (like a public event?) calls down a few waves of high level bots for some decent loot. You can definitely avoid pvp fights (not shocked) and just do some questing if that's your vibe, but there's still a chance you'll be found and taken out. I love that risk, tho.
