Government: Let’s reconstruct Lusada road with concrete. Let’s start with installing the steel grids. People: They have done the reinforcement, let’s go and display our goods there and be crossing it anyhow. Good people, great nation. Una.

I am devastated right now. Tuesday, Ope Ola Grace called my attention to a woman who she saw at Sweet Sensation, OPIC Abeokuta with a child who appeared visibly malnourished. When I went even o check, she was no longer there. I finally got the chance to go see her moments ago and I met the baby like this. I don't know what to do. I'm thinking the worst but this woman is still holding on to the child that she's sleeping. Tried telling her to follow me to the hospital, but she refused. I have called the Commissioner for Women Affairs, and she's on her way to meet us here.

I lost some of my faith in people yesterday. Do you all remember this story of the woman we found on the road carrying a dead child? Around 3pm yesterday while I was at the hospital, I got a call from Ope Ola Grace. She sounded really confused. I asked what’s wrong then she said she saw this woman at Lafenwa begging for alms among the beggars. I told her to wait there and make sure she doesn’t leave, that I am on my way to confirm with my eyes because it can’t be possible. I got there with Seeker of Truth and it was indeed true. I couldn’t believe what I saw. How’s this possible?? We set up a business worth around N300k for her last December, gave her money, gave her husband extra money to keep. Enrolled her kids (all 3 of them) in school, supplied all needed school materials for one year. Bought at least 3 months worth of food supply for them as well. The Hon Commissioner for women affairs Hon. Motunrayo Adijat Adeleye also sent delegates to her with lots of needed items; 25kg bags of rice twice in the last 5 months, 10 crates of soft drink for the wife in January. The commissioner also made sure that her husband was among the 100 beneficiaries of the N100,000 disability grant of the RHI shared on the 17th of April by First Lady Remi Tinubu in Abeokuta. He confirmed that he received the N100k the same day. I called her at the spot to show her the woman and she was confused too. Like, “Jack, what else could we have done?” I asked people there, they said she’s been begging with them for more than a month. When I explained in details all the help we have provided for her in the last 5 months, they got angry, saying she should leave. That’s not even the worst part of this story. The worst, I fear, is she appears pregnant again. However she insisted she’s not, that she just ate eba, that’s why her stomach is big. We took her back home, the husband (visually impaired as I stated then) said he was not aware that she has been begging, and he can’t see, so no way to confirm if she’s pregnant. Everyone in her community said she goes out for 3-4hours everyday when the kids have gone to school to get ‘supplies’ for their mini-stall. They said some other troubling things about her that I won’t want to share here. I am confused on what to do next.

Update: The Commissioner for Women Affairs in Ogun State, Hon. Hon. Motunrayo Adijat Adeleye arrived at the scene 15min after I called her with some medics and other assistants. Unfortunately, the baby was pronounced dead. From there, we followed the woman to where she lives (terrible I must say). We found that the husband is blind and she has 2/3 other kids who look visibly malnourished as well. Arrangements has been made for the burial by her team. She has also constituted a committee to take up medical check-ups for the entire family and contribute a fund to set up a business for the woman. I had a bad day. 😥💔

UPDATE 🔥🔥: Gateway International Airport gets approval for Scheduled Commercial flights✈️✈️✈️ I can CONFIRM that the Gateway International Airport has been GRANTED Interim Aerodrome Operational Permit to operate Scheduled Commercial flights by the NCAA. {Check slides for videos of the airport) About the Gateway International Airport: —Conceived in 2019 and built from ground up by Governor Dapo Abiodun Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun, CON ✅ —First Approval of its kind in Nigeria. ✅ — Longest Runway in Nigeria and West Africa. ✅ —Strategic facility for both passenger and cargo operations, with a primary focus on agro-cargo. —Conceptualized as an aerotropolis; an integrated development that merges an airport with industrial parks, residential areas, and business districts. —The airport is projected to provide employment opportunities for around 25,000 unemployed youths in the state, according to Nairametrics. —The airport will now serve as the alternate airport to Murtala MUHAMMED International Airport. Before its construction, if any aircraft cannot land at MMIA, the flight is re-directed to Accra Airport. The gateway international airport ends that dilemma. ✅ —It aims to boost Ogun State and Nigeria's economic development by facilitating trade, investment, and job creation. The airport is designed to handle commercial, cargo, and passenger traffic, with the goal of decongesting other major airports like Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos. Vision + Passion = Implementation. ✅ Thank you Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun, CON 🙏 God bless Ogun State. 🙏 God bless Nigeria. 🇳🇬 P.S: This approval marks the completion of the Phase III of the permit process and the beginning of the Phase IV, which is the full operational permit. The full Operational permit is expected to arrive in 6 months.
