I am devastated right now. Tuesday, Ope Ola Grace called my attention to a woman who she saw at Sweet Sensation, OPIC Abeokuta with a child who appeared visibly malnourished. When I went even o check, she was no longer there. I finally got the chance to go see her moments ago and I met the baby like this. I don't know what to do. I'm thinking the worst but this woman is still holding on to the child that she's sleeping. Tried telling her to follow me to the hospital, but she refused. I have called the Commissioner for Women Affairs, and she's on her way to meet us here.

I lost some of my faith in people yesterday. Do you all remember this story of the woman we found on the road carrying a dead child? Around 3pm yesterday while I was at the hospital, I got a call from Ope Ola Grace. She sounded really confused. I asked what’s wrong then she said she saw this woman at Lafenwa begging for alms among the beggars. I told her to wait there and make sure she doesn’t leave, that I am on my way to confirm with my eyes because it can’t be possible. I got there with Seeker of Truth and it was indeed true. I couldn’t believe what I saw. How’s this possible?? We set up a business worth around N300k for her last December, gave her money, gave her husband extra money to keep. Enrolled her kids (all 3 of them) in school, supplied all needed school materials for one year. Bought at least 3 months worth of food supply for them as well. The Hon Commissioner for women affairs Hon. Motunrayo Adijat Adeleye also sent delegates to her with lots of needed items; 25kg bags of rice twice in the last 5 months, 10 crates of soft drink for the wife in January. The commissioner also made sure that her husband was among the 100 beneficiaries of the N100,000 disability grant of the RHI shared on the 17th of April by First Lady Remi Tinubu in Abeokuta. He confirmed that he received the N100k the same day. I called her at the spot to show her the woman and she was confused too. Like, “Jack, what else could we have done?” I asked people there, they said she’s been begging with them for more than a month. When I explained in details all the help we have provided for her in the last 5 months, they got angry, saying she should leave. That’s not even the worst part of this story. The worst, I fear, is she appears pregnant again. However she insisted she’s not, that she just ate eba, that’s why her stomach is big. We took her back home, the husband (visually impaired as I stated then) said he was not aware that she has been begging, and he can’t see, so no way to confirm if she’s pregnant. Everyone in her community said she goes out for 3-4hours everyday when the kids have gone to school to get ‘supplies’ for their mini-stall. They said some other troubling things about her that I won’t want to share here. I am confused on what to do next.

However, I’d like to clarify the things you got wrong. Walk with me: 1. The Lafenwa-Itele-Ayobo road is a 12km Federal road which passes through Ado Odo Otta LGA in Ogun Ogun State. It connects Ogun State to Lagos State via the Mopol Junction. Federal Road Reconstruction works, facilitated by Senator Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola YAYI. CON, FCA , commenced in March 2023 on this road. Evidence: 2. The photos you posted are OLD photos taken from google. They don’t reflect the true state of the road. (Check frame C and D and E for evidence) 3. “I did it because I wanted to have followers like Peller.” — The boy who raised false alarm on Tik-tok about bandits attack in Atan Ota, Ogun State to gain followers. A stunt that may now land him in serious trouble. {See his full confession in the video attached} On Monday, May 23, 2026, the suspect, Kowiu Oloyede, a tailor and TikTok user woke up and decided to chase clout in the most dangerous way possible. He went to his backyard, recorded a distress video claiming that bandits were attacking Atan in Ogun State, and posted it on TikTok. The video quickly went viral, causing panic, fear, and widespread hysteria within the community and beyond. His TikTok following jumped from about 60 followers to over 1,000 within hours. Excited by the sudden attention and engagement, he attempted a second staged video to gain even more followers. He sought the advice of a friend who encouraged him to continue that this might be his moment to blow. According to his confession to the police, he then approached a Fulani cattle rearer in his neighborhood (who had come around to charge his phone) and tried to convince him to participate in a fake kidnapping video where he would appear to be begging for his freedom. The Fulani man refused to be involved in such. Unknown to the unsuspecting man, the boy’s brother was already recording. The boy then knelt down and acted in a way that falsely suggested he was pleading with a kidnapper to release him. He posted that video as well. Realizing the gravity of what he had done, he quickly deleted the second video, but the first false alarm video had already spread widely. Hours later, operatives of the Ogun State Police Command reportedly arrived at his residence and arrested him. The case is presently being handled at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Eleweran, Abeokuta, Ogun State. He is expected to face prosecution and, if found guilty, punishment as prescribed by law. This should serve as a warning to people who deliberately raise false alarms for clout and social media engagement. Given the current security situation in the country, spreading fake panic for attention is not a joke, it can endanger lives, create chaos, and carry serious legal consequences. The exact place where the trending ‘flood’ video of yesterday was recorded. {I attached the time-stamp from the camera app to satisfy the doubting Thomas. To them, everything is a lie}. The overflow during the yesterday’s heavy rainfall was caused by illegal refuse dumping in drainage ways. The water level receded and drained last night.

Before its construction, if any aircraft cannot land at MMIA, the flight is re-directed to Accra Airport. I am devastated right now. Tuesday, Ope Ola Grace called my attention to a woman who she saw at Sweet Sensation, OPIC Abeokuta with a child who appeared visibly malnourished. When I went even o check, she was no longer there. I finally got the chance to go see her moments ago and I met the baby like this. I don't know what to do. I'm thinking the worst but this woman is still holding on to the child that she's sleeping. Tried telling her to follow me to the hospital, but she refused. I have called the Commissioner for Women Affairs, and she's on her way to meet us here.
