I tried creating a customizable sword smear rig in Blender that can be imported directly into game engines without requiring custom shaders. This way, i don't have to manually add sword slash VFX in the editor and hope they match the animation timing in-game lol

I'm quite happy with the Arnis/Kali combo I animated last time so i completed the set! The flow turned out so smooth, yet powerful! This is also the first time i shared CT's new combat which is still a WIP. Most stuff like other animations, UI and VFX are placeholders for now.

Following up on this, I managed to make my own cutscene QTE system as a Unity timeline playable! The system should support many types of QTE inputs, as well as pass/fail input results! 🥳 #gamedev
