Guys, I got it working! 🥹 CT now has better push physics and it made the game feel so good! I struggled for over a year recreating this "simple" physics behavior because it cannot be found anywhere on the internet, and I don't have anyone who is an expert...

Until recently, when some of you guys helped me find this out in the comments. This is one of my biggest struggles in making this game, It's never fun with clunky physics!! I literally shed tears seeing this work like magic. It's amazing what a little help can do! I'm so happy 😭

I would like to thank @Feyntan, @Hayd__n, and everyone who gave me tips and ideas on how to make a better character physics. It helped me solve a 2-year-old issue and saved me from going insane! This is one of the best birthday gifts I've received this year. Thank you so much!

For anyone asking about the approach: • disable enemy vs player collision • overlap capsule/sphere on both enemy and player • get the direction between overlapping characters • lerp the XZ position of characters using the direction if they overlap with each other • nice ✨

you're so right about kinematic vs non-kinematic. I was doing it the wrong way and was adding force instead of offsetting the position!

JELLY PHYSICS + FUR is an absolute cheat code 😭 I built this tiny furry monster jumping game with GPT-6 Astra on Happycapy , and the interaction feels ridiculously good. GPT-6 Astra is getting scary good at this kind of interactive 3D physics. I dropped the game link in the comments. Give it a try 👇

Guys, I don't want AM in my parties. I don't judge anyone over it and I'm not better than anyone else for not using it, I just don't like it. The problem is when it's a requirement or being forced on others. This is P9S from like 6mo ago. What the hell do you even need this for?

I don't trust the CIA. I know Ghost Murmur is real because I've been explaining the exact physics for over two years. It has nothing to do with trusting authority. I researched and learned. They've unified physics and they classified it. I'm exposing that fact. It's not going to be an easy thing for a lot of people who were taught wrong to accept. Tesla was right. All the textbooks in the world are wrong.

I made a working 🎁 Claw Machine for 🥨 Richard's birthday today full of 🥨 3d pretzels: It took about 2 hours prompting in Cursor and it was a good opportunity to practice basic physics in JS with Cannon JS for physics About 80% was Cursor and 20% was me hand coding things like the claw Today I am rewriting the flight model for my plane game and I want to add real physics so what I learnt here I can apply then

Spike believes there is an urgency to win a Super Bowl for the Eagles this year. "I don't think it can be a transition year. I think it has to be a year where the only result that feels like a success is the Super Bowl because I just don't know how long this era of players and coaches will be here."

Gavin Baker says the physics PhDs calling orbital data centers impossible on X have not out-thought the 10,000 SpaceX engineers who treat it as solved "It's very hard for me to engage. There are all these people on X and they're like, I am a physics PhD and this is impossible." "There's a friend, another investor, who actually is a physics PhD, who I had many arguments about it with him, and he's like, I am a PhD and this is impossible. And then he goes to the SpaceX day and talks to the SpaceX engineers, and he's like, well, I was wrong." "So let's say you're an astrophysics PhD. You are brilliant, you're hanging 100 IQ points on me. Have you thought about this for an hour? Have you thought about it for 10 hours?" "Because you have 10,000 of the world's smartest engineers at SpaceX who've thought about this each for hundreds if not thousands of hours. And the sum of that, working with very sophisticated engineering tools, is it's a solved problem." _______ For more on Gavin Baker:

Ben Affleck says the best work of his career is the commentary he recorded for Armageddon Ben Affleck: So this disc, um, the... the Criterion. I was surprised when I heard Criterion was doing Armageddon, 'cause I didn't think of it as that kind of movie when we did it. Um, and in retrospect now, I feel like maybe my best work in my career is the commentary on this disc. People approach me to talk about the commentary on this disc as much as they do like movies that I've been in. And it's because, um, I didn't know any better than to be really honest. But I won't spoil it for those of you who are interested. It... it... it is a... it is an... as an achievement that I'm proud of and didn't intend to be as good as I now think it is at the time. Criterion, when is the 4K coming out?"

Remember when games prioritized amazing physics over sheer graphics quality? I miss those days. Besides Rockstar's RDR2 and GTA, it feels like physics have really become an afterthought. Am I the only one who feels this way?

Doc says he doesn't like what's going on with Giannis: "I decided long ago that's not for me to get involved in the rest of this [Giannis] stuff. I don't like it, though. I don't. I think this is a grown man's game, and it should be handled that way by everybody. And so I don't like when it's this 'he said she said stuff'. It's not good. Just from that seat — the fact that I have to sit up here and keep addressing it — it bothers me. We need to do something about it."
