At Amazon’s JFK8 fulfillment center on Staten Island, strikers included workers with disabilities. Here’s a beautiful moment that warmed my heart because it offers a lesson in a broad class politics rooted in the everyday language of solidarity.

The timeline is grim. But there’s no better pick me up than a lively picket line.

The second arrest was of Anthony Rosario, Teamsters organizer and former UPS driver who was a leader in the 1997 UPS strike. Rosario says he and the workers were complying with police officers’ demand to let one truck through every two to three minutes.

Amazon workers are demanding that the logistics behemoth make Juneteenth a paid holiday. In North Carolina, Amazon dispatched union-busting goons to conduct a psyops operation of half-truths and lies as worker-leaders with CAUSE organize to a build a union in the South.
